Nabire, Bumiofinavandu – Bupati Nabire Mesak Magai, membuka Rapat Kerja (Raker) I dan II, Gereja Kemah Injil Indonesia (GKII) Daerah Nabire Wilayah III Papua. Raker diawali dengan ibadah dipimpin Ketua GKII Wilayah III, Pdt. Yohakim Mote, M.Th yang dilaksanakan di GKII Alfa Omega Bumi Wonorejo Nabire, Jumat (27/10/2023) kemarin.
Raker tersebut mengusung tema, “Layanilah Tuhan Dalam Roh, yang menyala-nyala untuk bertumbuh, bertumbuh, dan berdampak. (Roma 12-11). Sementara sub Tema, “Dengan rapat kerja daerah (Rakerda) ini, Kita melayani Tuhan dalam Roh dan Kebenaran yang menuju Gereja Bertumbuh, Bertumbuh, dan berdampak”.
Bupati Mesak Magai, dalam sambutannya mengucapkan terimakasih kepada jemaat GKII, yang selalu dukungan dalam doa atas kepercayaannya memimpin daerah ini. Ia berharap dapat memimpin pemerintahan dengan baik dan berdampak kepada masyarakat Nabire.
“Terima kasih atas doa dari jemaat GKII untuk kami,” ungkapnya.
Bupati Mesak juga berencana untuk membangun kantor daerah Klasis GKII Nabire, jika sudah disiapkan tanah atau lokasi untuk pembangunan.
“Kalau disiapkan tanah/ lokasi, maka kita akan upayakan untuk bangun gedung klasis,” kata Bupati Mesak.
Ia juga mengjakan jemaat gereja GKII di Nabire, untuk bergandeng tangan dan bersatu mewujudkan serta menciptakan ‘Nabire Hebat’ menjadi aman dan damai bagi sesama.
Ketua Panitia Raker Daerah I dan II, Yanuarius Tigi, menambahkan, rakes dilaksanakan guna mengevaluasi kinerja Jemaat yang ada di Daerah/Klasis Nabire.
Diapun berterima kasih kepada Bupati Nabire Mesak Magai, atas bantuan sebesar Rp 50 juta dalam mendukung pelaksanaan raker.
“Terima kasih Pak Bupati atas bantuan untuk sukseskan kegiatan kami,” ungkap Tigi.
