Polisi bergerak menyelidiki laporan informasi itu lalu menemukan pelaku yang tidak mengindahkan himbauan larangan penjualan togel.
Tindakan ini diambil aparat Reskrim Polres Nabire dalam pemberantasan dan operasi besar-besaran dari pusat hingga daerah, berdasarkan instruksi Kapolri tentang pemberantasan judi di seluruh pelosok tanah air.
Kepala Satuan Reskrim (Kasat Reskrim) Polres Nabire AKP Akhmad Alfian, SIK, MH, mengatakan, ketiga warga yang ditangkap berinisial MS (46) warga Jalan DS Yan Mamoribo, Kelurahan Siriwini. YW (60), warga Jalan Martatiahahu, Kelurahan Kalibobo. Dan AW (24) warga Jalan Perintis, Kelurahan Bumi Wonorejo, Nabire.
“Kami tangkap mereka tadi siang di tiga lokasi berbeda, sekitar pukul 11.30 -15.30 Wit,” ujar AKP Alfian pada Senin (22/08/2022).
AKP Alfian menyebut, tiga pelaku saat ini sedang menjalani pemeriksaan di Polres Nabire guna proses hukum lebih lanjut.
Pelaku diamankan dengan sejumlah barang bukti yaitu uang hasil penjualan togel, dua buah ponsel, dua buah tas samping, satu buah dompet, hekter, bolpoin, kertas kupon putih, karbon, jam tangan dan buku shio.
“Mereka dijerat dengan pasal 303 ayat (1) ke 1 KUHP, dengan acaman hukuman penjara selama 10 tahun,” pungkas AKP Alfian.(*)
