Nabire, Bumiofinavandu – Satu unit mobil Pemadam Kebakaran (Damkar) dan Armoured Water Cannon (AWC) milik Polres Nabire, dikerahkan untuk memadamkan kebakaran pada Jumat (23/02/2023) kemarin.
Sedikitnya, 23 lapak atau kios tempat jualan warga di dilahap si jago merah. Insiden ini terjadi di kompleks pasar sore, Kelurahan Siriwini, Nabire, Papua Tengah, Jumat (23/2/2023) pagi.
Kapolres Nabire melalui kepala seksi Humas, Iptu Yaudi mengatakan bahwa peristiwa naas tersebut terjadi sekitar pukul 05.00 waktu setempat. seorang saksi, Yefta Numberi (33) terbangun dan melihat kompleks pasar sore itu telah terbakar. Saksi kemudian menggunakan kendaraan rodanya bergegas menuju Polsek Nabire Kota untuk melaporkan kejadian tersebut.
“Saksi kaget dan bangun melihat ada kebakaran dan langsung menuju Polsek Kota untuk melaporkan peristiwa ini,” kata Iptu Yaudi.
Atas laporan dari saksi, personil Polsek Kota langsung merespon dan mendatangi tempat kejadian perkara (TKP), serta melaporkan insiden ini ke piket Polres Nabire.
“Sekitar pukul 05.35 WIT piket penjagaan, piket fungsi bersama Damkar dan AWC tiba di pasar sore untuk melakukan pemadaman,” ungkapnya.
Kasus tersebut lanjut Iptu Yaudi, saat ini tengah dalam penyelidikan lebih lanjut guna mengungkap sebab kebakaran.[*]
