Sesalkan penembakan Polisi terhadap warga sipil, ini kata Osea Petege

Nabire, Bumiofinavandu –  Salah satu tokoh pemuda dari Mapia, Osea Petege, menyesalkan tindakan penembakan yang dilakukan oleh oknum aparat kepolisian terhadap warga sipil di Kabupaten Dogiyai, Papua Tengah.

Menurutnya, penembakan yang di lakukan oleh oknum aparat kepolisian pada Sabtu, (21/01) pekan lalu di Kampung Gopouya yang berujung meninggalnya Yulianus Tebai (30) tahun jelas-jelas melanggar hukum.

“Kejadian ini melanggar hukum dan jelas-jelas melawan hukum,” tutur Petege di kediamannya. Selasa (24/01/2023).

Seharusnya menurut Petege, sebagai aparat penegak hukum, yang semesti mengerti tentang hukum dan aturan hukum ketika bertindak. Aparat tidak harus mengangkat senjata dan melakukan penembakan terhadap warga sipil.

“Aparat jangan sampai bertindak gegabah dan brutal terhadap warga sipil,” tuturnya.

Iapun meminta kepada Kapolri dan Kapolda Papua untuk menindaklanjuti dan menindak tegas kasus tersebut hingga tuntas. Bila perlu kata dia, oknum polisi pelaku penembakkan diserahkan kepada masyarakat untuk dihakimi secara adat.

Sebab bila tidak diselesaikan dengan baik oleh petinggi Polri, maka sudah barang tentu akan menimbulkan polemik dan dendam bagi warga sipil yang ada di Kabupaten Dogiyai terhadap warga non papua yang ada hidup dan mencari serta menaruh dendam terhadap aparat Polri dan warga non OAP di Kabupaten Dogiyai.

“Karena hal-hal semacam ini akan menimbulkan kecemburuan dan dendam, yang tidak akan pernah hilang dari benak warga masyarakat yang ada di Dogiyai. Saya minta Kapolri dan Kapolda Papua untuk menyelesaikan kasus ini seadil-adilnya,” pungkasnya.[*]
