Kronologi bermula pada saat kedua tim baru memasuki lapangan pada babak pertama. Tiba-tiba salah seorang dari tim official kesebelasan Simapitowa FC, melakukan protes terhadap panitia.

Dia menilai, panitia tidak jujur sebab meloloskan kesebelasan Kamasan mendatangkan pemain dari luar Nabire. Bahkan terkesan para pemain itu (Kamasan) sudah terpaut usia dan tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan yang diterapkan panitia, yakni umur pemain berkisar 17-23 Tahun.

Namun, protes ini berhasil di halangi oleh panitia dan aparat keamanan. Bahwa tuduhannya tidak benar sebab pemain sesuai dengan ketentuan dan memenuhi syarat. Dan buktinya dapat dilihat di dalam data yang terdaftar di panitia.

Akhirnya, pertandingan dilaksanakan, kedua tim bermain imbang dan saling menyerang. Dan pada menit ke-9, tim Simapitowa berhasil membobol gawang Kamasan FC, dan memetik satu poin atas lawannya 1-0.

Kronologis kejadian bermula saat babak pertama sedang berlangsung di menit ke 25. Yakni lalu wasit meniup peluit untuk tendangan gawang bagi PS Simapitowa, dengan menunjukkan kedua tangannya mengarah ke daerah kotak pinalti PS Simapitowa. Dan pemain Simapitowa mengira akan dilakukan tendangan finalti dari tim lawan Kamasan FC.

Protespun datang dari pemain Simapitowa FC dan suporternya. Bahkan salah seorang supporter dari klub Simapitowa FC berlari kedalam lapangan dan menyerang wasit.

Ricuh pun tak terhindarkan. Bola belum sempat di tending dan tiba-tiba, seorang suporter dari kesebelasan Simapitowa FC berlari masuk ke dalam lapangan dan menyerang wasit. Keributan pun tak dihindari. Beberapa orang yang diguga berasal berasal dari suporter Simapitowa mengamuk dan menyerang wasit bahkan terlihat beringas.Dalam kericuan ini, aparat keamanan dari Polres Nabire berupaya melerai suporter yang mengamuk. Situasi kembali tenang dan panitia menyatakan pertandingan dilanjutkan.

Akan tetapi, sebagian orang (Suporter) yang tidak menerima masih saja berusaha menyerang wasit dan terus melakukan protes di depan panitia, bahkan tidak mau keluar dari dalam lapangan.

Akhirnya, panitia memutuskan pertandingan dihentikan. Dan rencananya, kejadian tersebut akan ditangani oleh komisi disiplin (Komdis) pertandingan.
