Ribka Haluk; Tanamkan toleransi antar umat beragama di Provinsi Papua Tengah. – Bumiofinavandu/Dok Pemprov Papua Tengah.

Nabire, Bumiofinavandu –   Penjabat Gubernur Papua Tengah, Doktor Ribka Haluk, melakukan pertemuan dengan lembaga spritual (keagamaan) di wilayah yang dipimpinnya. Pertemuan dilakukan dalam rangka menyiapkan presepsi yang sama untuk membangun Provinsi Papua Tengah, dengan anti kekerasan dan memiliki nilai toleransi yang tinggi antar umat beragama.

“Tujuan pertemuan ini dalam rangka meningkatkan koordinasi antara pemerintah dan lembaga keagamaan. Seluruh perwakilan lembaga keagamaan hadir dalam peremuan ini, termasuk beberapa organisasi gereja,” ungkap Ribka Haluk, Sabtu (09/10/2022) usai berlangsungnya rapat koordinasi terkait fasilitas lembaga spritual di wilayah Provinsi Papua Tengah.

Ribka Haluk mengharapkan Provinsi Papua Tengah bisa dengan cepat mengejar ketertinggalan dari aspek pembangunan infrastruktur, pelayanan kesehatan, pembangunan sumber daya manusia dan juga meningkatnya pendapatan masyarakat. Akan tetapi, ia ingin meletakan dasar pembangunan itu dimulai dari membangun sisi kerohanian dalam berbangsa dan bernegara.

“Agama merupakan alat pemersatu, tanpa bersatu kita tidak akan bisa membangun daerah ini untuk lebih baik. Kita tidak boleh terpecah belah akibat perbedaan keyakinan, melainkan kita harus bersama-sama meningkatkan nilai toleransi antar umat beragama di Provinsi Papua Tengah ini,” katanya.

Ribka Haluk  menambahkan dalam pertemuan ini, pihaknya juga membahas standar operasional prosedur (SOP) tentang pemberian bantuan dari pemerintah kepada lembaga keagamaan. Ia menjelaskan saat ini cukup banyak proposal yang masuk kepada pemerintah untuk permintaan bantuan keagamaan yang masuk.

“Memang kita menyiapkan anggaran untuk bantuan kepada lembaga keagamaan, dimana setiap lembaga keagamaan akan diberikan bantuan yakni hanya bisa diproleh 1 kali dalam satu tahun. Dalam menyampaikan proposal tentu memiliki batas waktu, misalnya mau mendapat bantuan tahun depan, tentunya perencanannya sudah diajukan tahun ini. Inilah hal-hal yang juga kami bahas,” jelasnya.

Ia juga mengharapkan dengan hadirnya Provinsi Papa Tengah, diharapkan lembaga keagamaan berkantor di daerah ini, atau tidak lagi berada di wilayah Papua sebagai induk provinsi lain di Tanah Papua.

“UU DOB itu sudah final, sehingga kita harapkan domisili lembaga keagamaan tidak lagi berdomisili di Papua, melainkan sudah pindah ke Papua Tengah. Untuk apa, yakni mempermudah koordinasi, penyamaan pfresefsi lebih mudah kedepan. Kedepan, saya akan melakukan safari ke masing-masing lembaga keagamaan,” pungkasnya.

Sekretaris Umum Sinode Kingmi di Tanah Papua, Dominggus Pigai, menyampaikan bahwa  pemerintah Provinsi Papua Tengah sangat terbuka dan transparan dalam hal penerapan kebijakan pasca lahirnya UU 15 Tahun 2022 tentang pembentukan Provinsi Papua Tengah. Hal itu tercermin dari pembentukan dan prekrutan anggota Majelis Rakyat Papua (MRP), dimana pemerintah menilai agama itu merupakan sebuah kekuatan batin yang penting.

“Saya pikir daerah ini sangat cocok menjadi kota pluralisme agama, karena Ribka Haluk selaku Pj. Papua Tengah meletakan pundasi pembangunan dengan melibatkan lembaga keagamaan dalam partisipasi publik, mulai dari proses pemilihan MRP hingga saat ini,” tegasnya.

Ia menghargai apa yang menjadi keputusan Pj. Gubernur Papua Tengah terkait pelaksanaan koordinasi kedudukan kelembagaan agama. Diharapkan pula hubungan pemerintah daerah dan kelembagaan agama bisa terus ditingkatkan, sehingga sinkronisasi antar kelembagaan dan pembuatan program bisa diputuskan bersama.

“Saya percaya hubungan yang sudah terjalin baik ini, kita bisa sama-sama membangun Papua Tengah dengan damai, bebas dari konflik antar suku, unsur konflik agama, konflik kepentingan maupun konflik sosial dan terpenting membangun dengan prinsip-prinsip kebenaran,” lugasnya.

Sementara itu,  Badan Pekerja Sinode GKI Wilayah V di Tanah Papua, Pdt. Pubelius Manuaron, S.TH, mengapresiasi langkah-lanhkah pemerintah daerah Provinsi Papua Tengh dalam rangka menyatukan persepsi dalam kaitan pemberian perhatian pemerintah terhadap lembaga keagaman di daerah ini.

“Pasca lahirnya Provinsi Papua Tengah, ini adalah pertemuan pertama antara pemerintah daerah dengan lembaga keagamaan. Tentunya kami ucapkan terima kasih, apalagi ini pertemuan ini merupakan inisiatif pemerintah,” jelasnya.

“Tentunya perlu kami sampaikan, bahwa lembaga keagamaan itu selalu memberi perhatian dan dukungan kepada pemerintah daerah dan seluruh umat bergama. Oleh karena itu harapan kami hubungan kerja sama antara pemerintah dengan lembaga keagamaan khususnya di Papua Tengah harus terus kita tingkatkan,” pungkasnya.[*]
