Nabire, Bumiofinavandu –  Penjabat Sekda Provinsi Papua Tengah, Anwar Harun Damanik, meminta hentikan pertikaian antar warga di Kabupaten Nabire. sehingga sangat diharapkan kepada seluruh tokoh masyarakat untuk terlibat mencari solusi agar konflik tersebut agar tidak berlarut-larut.

“Konflik ini tidak boleh dibiarkan berlarut-larut. Jangan sampai jatuh korban lebih banyak lagi,” ungkap Anwar Damanik usai mengecek para korban konflik di RSUD Nabire, Sabtu (27/04/2024) sore.

Dia mengungkapkan, pertikaian ini telah mengakibatkan lima orang luka-luka. Saat ini para korban telah dirawat di RSUD Nabire.

“Jadi ada dua korban luka berat dan tiga korban luka ringan. Kami telah meminta kepada seluruh korban agar dirawat sampai sembuh. Selain kami menjamin pengobatan untuk para korban,  tadi kami juga memberikan santunan,” ungkap Damanik.

Ditambahkan, selain melihat para korban, pemerintah juga telah memanggil Kepala Suku Moni dan Kepala Suku Mee dan tokoh agama, guna meminta agar konflik antar masyarakat ini segera dihentikan.

“Selain itu kami sudah wacanakan dalam waktu dekat untuk mengumpulkan para kepala suku, tokoh intelektual, tokoh agama dan tokoh pemuda dan aparat keamanan untuk, untuk kemudian kita bersama-sama mencari solusi untuk menghentikan konflik ini,” tambah mantan Sekda Paniai ini.

Untuk itu, menghimbau kepada seluruh masyarakat agar tidak terprovokasi atas isu-isu yang berkembang. Ia mengharapkan agar semua pihak terlibat dalam menciptakan rasa aman, nyaman dan kondusif di wilayah Papua Tengah, secara khusus di Kabupaten Nabire.

“Saya menghimbau agar kita sama-sama menjaga dan menciptakan kedamaian di wilayah kita masing-masing. Mari kita mencegah konflik ini agar tidak berkembang,” harapnya.[*]
