“Ralat” dalam pemberitaan sebelumnya, pelaksanaan Pesparani tingkat Provinsi Papua Tengah sedianya dilaksanakan pada 30 September hingga 06 Oktober. Namun pada tanggal yang bersamaan ada pelaksanaan penerimaan Sakramen Krisma di Dekenat Deiyai, sehingga pelaksanaan Pesparani diundurkan pada 09 – 13 Oktober”

Nabire, Bumiofinavandu –  Ketua Umum  Lembaga Pembinaan dan Pengembangan PESPARANI Katolik (LP3K), Provinsi Papua Tengah, FX Mote mengatakan, pihaknya akan menggelar Perparani Pertama pada 30 September – 06 Oktober 2023 mendatang. Pesparani tersebut akan melibatkan peserta dari delapan Kabupaten yang ada di Provinsi ini. Sedangkan untuk Pesparani tingkat Nasional Ke-III akan diselenggarakan di DKI Jakarta pada  DKI Jakarta 28 – 2 November mendatang.

“Dan Provinsi Papua Tengah akan menjadi salah satu peserta dalam ajang tersebut,” ujar FX Mote di Hotel Jepara Indah II, Jumat (22/09/2023) kemarin.

Ia menjelaskan, umat Katolik di Indonesia sejak Tahun 2016 silam baru tiga kali melaksanakan Perparani tingkat Nasional. Yakni pertama pada Tahun 2018 di Ambon, Pesparani kedua Tahun 2022 di Kupang dan Pesparani ke tiga di DKI Jakarta Tahun 2023.

Kontingen Papua Tengah akan diberangkatkan pada 23/24 Oktober mendatang ke Jakarta untuk mengikuti lomba. Sementara kekuatan kontingen sebanyak 250 orang. Sehingga semua harapan kepada Pemprov Papua untuk mendukung dalam penyelenggaraannya.

“Dan Pesparani pertama tingkat Provinsi Papua Tengah, akan melibatkan delapan Kabupaten yang ada, kemudian pelaksanaannya pada 30 September – 06 Oktober 2023,” jelas Mote.

Sehingga kata Dia, LP3K Papua Tengah saat ini sedang menggelar rapat kerja daerah (rakerda) pertama selama tiga hari, yakni sejak Jumat, (22/09) hingga Minggu, (24/09). Peserta Rakerda I LP3K terdiri dari utusan Keuskupan Timika, utusan Kementerian Agama Provinsi Papua, pengurus LP3K Provinsi Papua Tengah. Juga utusan LP3K Kabupaten sebanyak dua orang, dan utusan Kepala kantor serta dua orang utusan dari Seksi Bimas Katolik Kementerian Agama Kabupaten.

Ia meminta kepada Kakanwil untuk memberikan penguatan kepada para Kakandep di masing-masing Kabupaten untuk mendukung kegiatan tersebut. Selain itu, Gubernur Papua juga diminta memberikan perhatian kepada delapan Kabupaten

“Karena sesuai peraturan Menteri Agama Nomor 35 Tahun 2026 mengamanatkan bahwa seluruh pembiayaan Pesparani dibebankan kepada APBD Provinsi dan Kabupaten,” kata Mote.

Rapat Kerja bertujuan untuk membahas pembinaan LP3K baik ditingkat Provinsi maupun Kabupaten di Papua Tengah. Maka LP3K bertugas untuk mengembangkan terutama Pesparani. Juga membahas tentang materi dan mata lomba yang akan dilombakan nantinya.

Sehingga ada 13 mata lomba yang sudah disampaikan kepada Kabupaten untuk dipelajari dan harus dipersiapkan.

“Dan delapan Kabupaten sudah bersedia dan siap mengikuti Pesparani tingkat Provinsi Papua Tengah nantinya dan pemenangnya akan mengikuti Pesparani Nasional ke-III di Jakarta,” sambungnya lagi.

Sementara itu, Pastor Paroki Santo Yoyep Nabire Barat, Pastor Oktovianus Taena, mendukung pelaksanaan Pesparani serta rakerda Pertama yang diselenggarakan LP3K Provinsi Papua Tengah.

Sebab kata dia, gereja memiliki sumber daya manusia yang layak untuk di kembangkan.

“Jadi dukungan dari Pemerintah sangat diharapkan. Kami dukung kegiatan Pesparani,” pungkasnya.[*]
