Nabire, Bumiofinavandu – Kepala Kementerian Agama Wilayah Papua melalui Kepala seksi Pengembangan Teknologi Pendidikan Agama pada Seksi Pendidikan Agama Katolik, Kemenag Papua, Gabriel Klau Bria, mengatakan, pembangunan dibidang keagamaan merupakan salah satu agenda prioritas dan strategis dari Pemerintah. Hal tersebut bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pemahaman, pengamalan, penghayatan ajaran agama.
Karena agama merupakantendensi penting dalam kehiduoan berbangsadan bernegara,” kata Gabriel saat pembukaan rapat kerja pertama LP3K Papua Tengah, Jumat (22/09/2023) kemarin.
Sebab menurutnya, agama memberikan landasan spiritual yang kuat untuk membanguan suatu tatanan masyarakat yang beriman, kokoh dan kuat. Selain dapat meningkatkan kualitas pemahaman penghayatan dan pengamalan ajaran agama, sebab pembangunan di bidang agama dapat menguatkan aspek-aspek keagamaan di dalam masyarakat, baik aspek kelembagaan, promosi nilai-nilai luhur keagamaan, penguatan pendidikan agama serta pengembangan seni budaya keagamaan.
Pengembangan seni budaya keagamaan merupakan salah satu program strategis yang bertujuan meningkatkan keimanan dan ketaqwaan kepada Tuhan. Maka dalam hal ini, pemerintah ikut mendorong pengembangan seni budaya keagamaan, melalui berbagai kebijakannya.
Hal ini terdapat dalam peraturan Menteri Agama Nomor 35 Tahun 2026 tentang LP3K. kita harus bersyukur tentang peraturan tersebut, yang merupakan bentuk perhatian pemerintah pada gereja Katolik, karena memberi ruang untuk mengembangkan dan melestarikan seni budaya keagamaan dan music liturgi gereja.
“Kongkritnya ada Pesparani Katolik di setiap tingkatan, yakni Nasional, Provinsi dan Kabupaten,” tuturnya.
Untuk itu, rapat kerja daerah pertama pengurus LP3K Papua Tengah, ungkap Bria, merupakan titik start awal dalam menyusun program dan strategi dalam menghadapi event Pesparani Nasional III di DKI Jakarta pada akhir Oktober sampai awal November mendatang.
Sehingga dengan waktu yang singkat tersebut lanjut Dia, dibutuhkan gerak cepat untuk menyiapkan peserta dalam setiap mata lomba yang akan diikuti.
“Jadi dibutuhkan kerja sama dan koordinasi yang baik, agar masalah dan hambatan yang dihadapi dapat teratasi. Termasuk semangat dan komitmen untuk memberikan kontribusi positif,” ungkapnya.
“Karena sukses dan tidaknya keikutsertaan Pesparaini Nasional III, tergantung dari sejauh mana membangun kerjasama yang baik. Dengan mengoptimalkan segala potensi dan kemampuan yang kita miliki,” pungkasnya.[*]
