Nabire, Bumiofinavandu – Tim gabungan dari Search and Rescue (SAR) bersama Polair, Polsek Yaur dan masyarakat Kampung Sima berhasil mengevakuasi sembilan penumpang speedboat yang terbalik di perairan Distrik Yaur. Speedboat naas tersebut diduga terbalik akibat kelebihan muatan ditambah cuaca buruk.
Kepala pos SAR Nabire, Tri Joko mengatakan, setelah mendapatkan informasi perahu terbalik dari keluarga korban. Tim SAR kemudian bergerak menuju tempat kejadian perkara guna mengevakuasi korban.
Tim kemudian bergerak menuju TKP dengan koordinat 3°18’35.86″S- 135° 5’38.04″E dengan menempuh perjalanan sekitar 27,88 menit dari pos SAR Nabire.
Sementara peralatan yang disediakan berupa trauma KIT, Stabilizer, Kantong Jenazah dan Produk lainnya. termasuk peralatan pendukung diantaranya; satu Unit RIB, Satu Unit Truck Personil, satu Unit GPS, Satu Set Medical BAG, Satu Set Pal Kom,serta eralatan pendukung lainnya.
“Korban dievakuasi ke Kampung Sima,” ujar Joko.
Sesampainya di Kampung Sima, Korban kemudian dibawa ke RSUD Nabire guna penanganan medis.
Sebelumnya diinformasikan bahwa perahu naas yang ditumpangi sembilan orang tersebut terbalik di pertengahan Pulau Nuburi dan Pulau Pepaya, Distrik Yaur sekira pukul 13.00 WP. Perahu tersebut berangkat dari Nabire mengantar lima orang guru dengan tujuan Kampung Bawei. Kelima guru itu dikirim oleh yayasan Tangan Pengharapan.
