Beberapa pedangan mama-mama Papua yang sering berjualan di pelabuhan ketika Kapal putih masuk. Ikut menyaksikan peresmian terminal penumpang oleh Plh Bupati Nabire – Bumiofinavandu.

Nabire, BumiofiNavandu – Akses pelabuhan laut Nabire akan kembali di singgahi kapal penumpang milik PT Pelni. Rencana pembukaan pemabuhan di tandai dengan peresmian terminal penumpang kelas II Nabire. kapal pertama yang akan berlabu adalah KM Labobar pada Selasa (30/3/2021) esok. Hal tersebut disambut baik oleh mama-mama Papua, penjual musiman takalah kapal penumpanng menyinggahi pelabuhan laut Nabire.

“Kami sangat senang. Sebab akan kembali berjualan,” ujar Contantina Rumbrapuk, salah satu penjual musiman dipelabuhan laut Nabire ketika menhadiri peresmian terminal penumpang pada Senin (29/3/2021).

Kata dia, jika kapal putih singgah di Nabire, para mama-mama akan berjualan. Ada yang menjual pinang sirih pinang, jeruk hingga makanan jadi. Hasilnya pun lumayan walau terkadang tidak laku terjual.

“satu mata pencarian kami adalah jualan saat kapal. Kami berteruma kasih kepada pemerintah karena kapal sudah mau singgah lagi,” kata ibu Wambrau.

Plh Bupai Nabire, Daniel Maipon mengatakan, dibukanya akses pelabuhan laut dan terminal penumpang. Juga dapat berdampak bagi mama-mama penjual untuk menjajakan dagangannya ketika kapal berlabu.“Jadi akses ini banyak manfaatknya, termasuk pedangan mama-mama papua untuk berjualan,” lanjut Maipon.(Red)
