Pembangunan Bandara Douw Aturure Nabire telan biaya 700 miliar

Menteri Perhubungan RI Budi Karya Sumadi dalam laporan saat peresmian operasional Bandara Douw Aturure, Kamis (23/11/2023).– Bumiofinavandu.

Karadiri, Bumiofinavandu –   Sehari sebelum diresmikan Bandara Baru Douw Aturure di Kampung Karadiri, Distrik Wanggar, Menteri Perhubungan RI Budi  Karya Sumadi meninjau langsung dan mendarat di Bandara utu. Menteri Budi Karya tiba dengan menggunakan pesawat jet jenis Cessna 700 Citation Longitude dengan nomor penerbangan PK – CAA milik Kementerian Perhubungan Balai Kolaborasi  Penerbangan Ditjen Perhubungan Udara.

Peninjauan dimulai dari landasan pacu, ruang kedatangan, keberangkatan, lahan parkir kendaraan dan fasilitas penunjang lainnya.

Ia menerangkan Bandara Douw Aturure ini sangat bagus dan memiliki terminal yang mewah. Pembangunannya menelan anggaran sebesar Rp 700 miliar dari dana menggunakan APBN.

“Berbeda dengan daerah lain yang biasanya pembangunannya hanya menelan angka Rp 400 miliar- Rp 600 miliar,” ungkapnya saat meninjau kesiapan Bandara.

“Kedepan pembangunan runwaynya akan mencapai 2.000 meter  sampai 2.500 meter dan Pemprov Papua Tengah rencananya akan membantu pembangunannya, tentu ini akan menjadi kolaborasi yang baik,” sambungnya lagi.

Menteri Budi Karya Sumadi mengatakan, pembangunan bandara tersebut merupakan adalah kolaborasi antara Pemerintah Pusat dan Daerah. Dimana tanah lokasi bandara dihibahkan pemerintah daerah kepada pemerintah pusat dan sudah dilakukan pembangunan baik terminal, room dan runway sepanjang 1.600 meter.

“Aktivitas bandara ini memang sudah ada dan rutin baik dari Timika, Manokwari maupun dari Jayapura. Diharapkan masyarakat semakin ingin untuk menggunakan pesawat udara sehingga jumlah yang minat menggunakan pesawat udara meningkat,” tutur Menteri.

Sementara itu, Kepala Unit Penyelenggara Bandar Udara (UPBU) Nabire, Setyani Mahendra, mengatakan setelah diresmikan harusnya bandara mulai beroperasi sesuai pesan Presiden, namun ada akses jalan menuju bandara masih dikerjakan sehingga pengoperasian bandar udara Douw Aturure Nabire ini masing akan menunggu pekerjaan akses jalan selesai.

“Muda-mudahan secepat mungkin akses yang menuju ke bandara ini cepat selesai agar kita operasikan bandara baru ini,” terangnya.

Setyani menjelaskan panjang runway atau landasan bandara saat ini memiliki 1.600 meter. Akan tetapi kedepan runway bandara ini akan terus dikembangkan hingga mencapai target 2.600 meter panjangnya.

“Untuk saat ini panjang landasannya tidak jauh dengan bandara lama yakni 1.400 meter, sehingga pesawat yang masuk masih sama dengan jenis ATR. Akan tetapi yang menjadi pembeda yakni akses keselamatan, yakni bandara baru lebih menjamin kecermatan dan keselamatan,” lugasnya.[*]
