Ketua Kelompok Khusus DPR Papua, John NR Gobai saat bertemu Ka Subdit Angkutan Laut Dalam Negeri, Jumat (11/08/2023). – Bumiofinavandu/ISTIMEWA.

Nabire, Bumiofinavandu –  Lagi-lagi, Ketua Kelompok Khusus (Poksus) DPR Papua, John NR Gobai, mendatangi Kementerian Perhubungan (Kemenhub) pada Jumat (11/08/2023). Kunjungan dengan agenda usulan trayek kapal dan subsidi perintis ke pedalaman Provinsi Papua Tengah.

Kemenhub yang ditemui adalah Subdit Angkutan Laut Dalam Negeri dan mengusulkan penambahan trayek atau pelabuhan singgah dari kapal perintis. Mengingat wilayah Papua masih butuh angkutan perintis.

“Seperti Sabuk Nusantara untuk beberapa titik di Nabire. Misalnya dari Wasior, Teluk Umar, Yaur, Nabire, dari arah Serui ke Waropen kemudian menuju Wapoga di Kampung Dokis  kemudian ke Napan dari Napan menuju Nabire,” ujar Gobai melalui panggilan selulernya pada Jumat (11/08/2023) kemarin.

Sementara untuk wilayah Selatan, Gobai juga mengusulkan perlu pengadaan airboat. Hal ini lantaran banyak terjadi pendangkalan, sehingga pelayanan transportasi terhambat.

Selain itu perlu ada trayek perintis Pomako – Kokonao dan Potowayburu , Pomako – Jita (Sipu Sipu), Agimuga, Agats.

“Ini usulan baru. Sebab kita di wilayah Papua masih sangat butuh angkutan perintis,” terangnya.

Bukan hanya itu, masih terdapat usulan untuk pemberian subsidi untuk penerbangan-penerbangan Perintis dari dan ke Nabire. Misalkan; Youtadi, Dadou Kabupaten Paniai, Intan Jaya, Deiyai, Sukikai dan Apouwo, Dogiyai, Puncak Jaya, Puncak, Dipa dan Menou, Kabupaten Nabire untuk daerah yang terpencil harus diberikan subsidi transportasi.

Dia kemudian menunjukan trayek-trayek yang telah ditetapkan oleh Kemenhub, khususnya untuk trayek-trayek kapal perintis.

Gobai mengapresiasi Kabupaten Asmat yang telah mengupayakan pelayanan di sejumlah titik di Kabupaten itu. Yang trayek kapal perintisnya telah berpangkalan di Kabupaten Merauke.

“Sebab di wilayah Utara Kabupaten Biak Numfor dan Kabupaten Yapen Waropen, Kabupaten Mamberamo Raya, mendominasi trayek trayek dari kapal perintis. Ini juga sebuah hal yang perlu diapresiasi karena telah diupayakan oleh mereka para stakeholder di sana untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dari masyarakat,” pungkasnya.[*]
