Komunitas Komapa akan gelar festival Musik Reggae November mendatang

Nabire, Bumiofinavandu –  Komunitas Mandiri Papua (Komapa), berencana akan menggelar festival Reggae Papua Tengah Tahun 2023. Festival direncanakan akan berlangsung bulan November mendatang.

“Kita berencana akan gelar festival reggae di Nabire Bulan November mendatang,” ujat Ketua Panitia, Alexander G Gobai, saat ditemui di Gedung Karel Gobai, Jalan Pepera Nabire, Jumat (11/08/2023).

Menurutnya, festival serupa sudah dilakukan sebanyak dua kali. Yakni tahun 2022 (14/0) silam. Kemudian tanggal 02 juli di tahun yang sama di Nabire, dalam rangka memperingati hari reggae sedunia.

Sehingga untuk saat ini, lanjut Gobai, pihaknya sedang menjalankan penggalangan dana guna mensukseskan event di maksud. Tepatnya tanggal 17 November di HUT Komunitas, sekaligus deklarasi dukungan agar tiap Tahun menggelar festival reggae. Sementara penyelenggaraan festival ketiga Tahun 2023, dilaksanakan dalam, rangka menyatukan seluruh grup-grup band reggae di Provinsi Papua Tengah.

“jadi kita ingin satukan seluruh grup-grup reggae di Papua Tengah di delapan Kabupaten. Dan melalui Komapa, kami bernaung di sana. Kalau soal manajemen itu masing-masing grup, tapi di sini dan Komunitas Kami (Komapa) jadi induk. Agar tidak vakum dalam berkarya khususnya music reggae,” tutur Gobai.

Sehingga untuk saat ini, lanjut Gobai, pihaknya sedang menjalankan penggalangan dana guna mensukseskan event dimaksud.

“Dan kami sudah galang sana, ada bazar dan nanti yang lainnya. Tujuannya hanya satu, untuk event di bulan oktober,” pungkasnya,” [*]
