Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip Daerah Dogiyai telah gelar Lomba Puisi dan Pidato, Senin (04/11/2023). – Bumiofinavandu/Martinus Dumupa.

Moanemani, Bumiofinavandu –  Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten dogiyai bakal menggelar lomba baca puisi dan pidato. Lomba tersebut berlangsung pada Senin (04/12/2023) kemarin. Lomba membaca puisi, diikuti oleh siswa-siswi SD, sementara lomba pidato diikuti oleh siswa-siswi SMP.

Lomba baca puisi dan pidato tersebut dilaksanakan dengan tema  “Gemar Membaca Tingkat SD, SMP, & SMA se – Kabupaten Dogiyai”, sementara subtema “Dengan membaca puisi, & berpidato kita telah membuka jendela dunia, dengan menulis terukir inspirasi jiwa”. Kegiatan tersebut dihadiri oleh asisten III Dogiyai, M. Basri, Kabag Humas Adi Gunarko, Kepala Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip Daerah Wilhelmus Petege.

Asisten III M. Basri, mengapresiasi lomba yang diselenggarakan oleh Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Daerah. Maka diharapkan agar dapat menghasilkan generasi muda yang cemerlang dan berbakat dalam pembaca puisi dan berpidato. Apalagi salah satu pilar dalam upaya mendukung terciptanya tujuan pembangunan adalah tersedianya sumber daya manusia berkualitas.

“Dengan adanya sumber daya manusia yang handal. Hal ini merupakan modal utama dan telah menjadi agen prioritas pemerintah Daerah,” ungkap M. Basri.

Kegiatan literasi tersebut menurut M. Basri, merupakan bagian dari upaya mendukung program “Gerakan gemar membaca”. Guna membentuk generasi muda Dogiyai yang berkarakter.

Sehingga lomba ini merupakan salah satu sarana untuk melihat dan mencari anak-anak yang berbakat dan berpotensi, untuk dibina dan dikembangkan. Agar dapat berprestasi dan memberikan yang terbaik diri pribadi, keluarga, masyarakat dan daerah. disamping itu juga melalui lomba ini dapat mendorong semangat siswa untuk berkompetisi secara sehat, mengembangkan potensi dan kemampuan diri.

“Saya berharap, sekolah dan guru-guru untuk dapat memperhatikan dan mengembangkan potensi-potensi anak-anak di seluruh sekolah Kabupaten Dogiyai,” harapnya.

Ketua panitia, Albertina You mengatakan bahwa lomba baca puisi dan pidato diikuti oleh perwakilan dari masing-masing siswa, baik dari  SD, SMP, hingga SMA. Kata dia, para peserta sangat antusias dan bersemangat untuk bersaing dalam perlombaan.

Tampak peserta lomba datang dengan tampilan terbarunya, lalu membawa lembaran berisi naskah puisi dan pidatonya yang berjudul “ENAGO YANG MALAS”.

“Kegiatan ini dimaksudkan agar para siswa terlatih dalam berpikir logis, sistematis, dan reflektif. Senada dengan poin ini, melalui kegiatan perlombaan ini, para siswa-siswi dan pelajar  bisa mengembangkan kemampuan berbahasa baik melalui tulisan maupun secara lisan,” kata Kabid Perpustakaan, Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip Daerah Dogiyai ini.

Salah satu peserta, Silvia Ekaristin Dumupa, Murid SD YPPGI Bukapa, mengungkapkan kegembiraan karena bisa mengikuti lomba tersebut.

Menurut Silvia Ekaristin Dumupa, dirinya sangat tertarik untuk mengikuti lomba karena bisa meningkatkan bakatnya dalam membaca puisi.

“Saya senang ikut lomba ini, karena bisa melatih diri dan bicara di depan umum,” kata Silvia senang.[*]
