Nabire, Bumiofinavandu – Polres Nabire, membentuk posko Kampung Bebas Narkoba (PKBN). Posko tersebut berada di Kantor Kelurahan Karang Tumaritis di Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Distrik Nabire, Papua Tengah. Hal tersebut dilakukan Polres Nabire guna meminimalisir peredaran narkoba, yang ditandai dengan pemasangan spanduk bertuliskan “Posko Kampung Bebas Dari Narkoba”.
Kegiatan tersebut dipimpin oleh Kasat Narkoba di wakili Kaur Bin OPS Narkoba Polres Nabire Ipda Muh. Arham beserta anggotanya. Didampingi oleh Kepala Kelurahan Karang Tumaritis Bapak Denny Kobepa, para Ketua RT, Ketua Karang Taruna serta Tokoh Pemuda setempat.
“Pembentukan Posko Narkoba ini, merupakan program Pemerintah melalui Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN), dalam tajuk perlombaan Kampung Bebas Dari Narkoba,” ujar Ipda Muh. Arham.
Dikatakan, Satuan Reserse Narkoba Polres Nabire akan terus berkoordinasi dengan pihak Kelurahan tentang Pembentukan Kampung Bebas Dari Narkoba ini.
“Maka kami juga berharap kepada pihak Kelurahan Karang Tumaritis, para RT, Ketua Pemuda, Ketua Karang Taruna dan para Tokoh Agama agar membantu kami Pihak Kepolisian dalam hal Pemberantasan Penyalahgunaan Dan Peredaran Gelap Narkoba (P4GN),” tuturnya.
Sementara Kepala Kelurahan Karang Tumaritis, Denny Kobepa mengatakan, P Kelurahan Karang Tumaritis menerima dan menyambut baik pilihan menjadi Kampung Bebas Narkoba.
Senan akhir-akhir ini, disekitar Kelurahan Karang Tumaritis mulai terlihat dampak Positifnya, tentang berkurangnya para Pemuda yang sering mabuk-mabuk. Maka diharapkan agar pihak Kepolisian khususnya Polres Nabire dapat melakukan giat Patroli secara berkala.
“Kami sambut baik hal ini dan harapannya agar di tingkatkan Patroli di wilayah Kelurahan ini,”tutur Kobepa.[*]
