Nabire, Bumiofinavandu –   Bahwa selama ini Kapal Perintis belum pernah masuk di beberapa wilayah di Nabire seperti Distrik Teluk Umar dan Distrik Yaur. Namun Tuhan telah membuka jalan, setelah kementrian Perhubungan melalui Dirjen Perhubungan Laut, Kemenhub menyetujui, tambahan pelabuhan singgah di Pesisir Nabire.

“Puji Tuhan, Tuhan Yesus baik. Dua Distrik di wilayah barat Nabire dilayani Kapal Perintis,” ujar Ketua Poksus DPD Papua John NR Gobai, Selasa (09/01/2024).

Dijelaskan, mulai terhitung jumat (12/01), sesuai dengan informasi dari PT. Pelni Nabire dan Mualim Mualim Kapal Sanus 63 akan beroperasi berlabuh di Teluk Umar (Yeretuar) pukul 08.00,WIT pagi dan Yaur (Waubu) pukul 13.00 WIT.

Sehingga Gobai meminta dukungan kepada Pemprov Papua Tengah dan Pemda Nabire, agar memfasilitasi kekurangan di pelabuhan wilayah tersebut.

“Yang kurang dapat dilengkapi. Dan kami berharap masyarakat agar kampung-kampung sekitar dapat membawa hasil bumi ke kota Nabire atau Waropen serta dapat ikut menjaga kenyamanan kapal ketika berlabuh,” harap Gobai.[*]
