Kapolres Dogiyai Kompol Sarraju saat memberikan bingkisan Natal kepada seorang ibu usai ibadah, Minggu (17/12/2023). – Bumiofinavandu/Humas Res Dogiyai.

Dogiyai, Bumiofinavandu –   Kepolisian Resort (Polres) Dogiyai, menggelar perayaan Natal bersama. Natal berlangsung di lapangan apel Polres Setempat, pada Minggu, (17/12/2023) kemarin. Dan dihadiri oleh tokoh agama, tokoh masyarakat, TNI Polri di wilayah itu.

Turut hadir dalam Natal itu, Sekda Dogiyai Damiana Tekege, Asisten III Setda Kab. Dogiyai M. Basry, serta beberapa pejabat dari TNI beserta anggotanya.

Ketua Panitia perayaan Natal Polres Ipda Hans N. Raubaba, mengucapkan terima kasih kepada pimpinan beserta rekannya atas dukungan dan kerjasama hingga terlaksananya perayaan Natal di Polres Dogiyai.

“Terima kasih saya ucapkan kepada Bapak Kapolres dan seluruh rekan-rekan dan panitia, karena berkat dukungan dan kerjasamanya, Natal ini dapat kita laksanakan,” ujarnya.

Sementara itu, Kapolres Dogiyai, Kompol Sarraju menyampaikan beberapa pesan Natal. Pertama, “Kemuliaan bagi Allah dan Damai Sejahtera di Bumi. Yang artinya bahwa Allah itu mulia dan agung, maka manusia wajib untuk menghormati dan takut akan Dia (Allah). Sedangkan Damai Sejahtera adalah kata sekaligus harapan seluruh umat manusia yang diharapkan.

“Setiap orang, baik maupun buruk, tanpa memandang agama, suku, ras dan golongan, menginginkan kedamaian dan kesejahteraan,” ungkap Kapolres.

Ia menjelaskan, untuk mencapai kesejahteraan dan kedamaian tidaklah muda. Akan tetapi, setidaknya damai itu diawali dari dalam hari pribadi seseorang, keluarga lalu turun ke masyarakat.

“Tinggal bagaimana hati kita bisa memunculkan sesuatu yang bisa diterima lalu diberikan kepada orang lain di sekitar kita,” jelas Kompol Sarraju.

Kapolres berharap agar melalui pesan-pesan Natal yang disampaikan oleh tokoh agama, dapat tumbuh dalam hati dan bisa diterapkan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa dan bernegara.

Di akhir perayaan Natal Kapolres Kompol Sarraju memberikan tali asih kepada warakawuri yang hadir dalam perayaan Natal itu.[*]
