Flobamora Papua Tengah minta maaf atas tindakan terhadap mahasiswa Papua di Kupang

Kali Harapan – Nabire, Bumiofinavandu –   Kerukunan masyarakat Flobamora atau NTT di Papua Tengah, menggelar konferensi pers guna menyampaikan permohonan maaf atas tindakan salah satu ormas di Kupang terhadap mahasiswa asal Papua pada 01 Desember lalu.

Konferensi pers berlangsung di kediaman Ketua Kerukunan Flobamora Papua Tengah Dhoga Mikael di Kampung Kali Harapan, Distrik Nabire, pada Minggu (03/11/2023) malam.

Selain ketua Kerukunan, konferensi pers ini dihadiri oleh beberapa ketua tungku dan pendeta. Mereka diantaranya, Marselinus Rae, Marthen Blegur, Aloysius Sabon Igor, Alfredo Manek. Sementara dua pendeta yang turut hadir antara lain, Pendeta Mordekhai Oilla, S. Th dan Pendeta Sir John Bani, S. Th.

 “Kami menyampaikan permohonan maaf atas tindakan yang dilakukan masyarakat NTT terhadap anak-anak mahasiswa di kupang tanggal 01 Desember 2023 kemarin. Kami sangat menyesal atas kejadian tersebut, untuk itu kami mohon maaf yang sebesar-besarnya,” ungkap Ketua Kerukunan Dogha Mikhael.

Sementara itu, salah satu ketua Tungku Marselinus Rae, meminta kepada Kapolda NTT untuk segera mengambil langkah dan menindaklanjuti pelaku yang bersangkutan.

“Kami minta dengan hormat kepada Kapolda NTT untuk segera memproses hukum pelaku atau ormas melakukan tindakan terhadap adik-adik mahasiswa Papua yang berada di Kupang beberapa waktu, yang menerima perlakuan tidak adil lalu,” pinta Marselinus.

Hamba Tuhan, Pendeta Pendeta Mordekhai Oilla, mengingatkan masyarakat di Kupang dan NTT, bahwa masyarakat Flobamora yang sudah puluhan tahun di Tanah Papua, sudah merasa dan menganggap bahwa orang Papua adalah keluarganya.

Sebab orang Papua adalah mama, bapak, saudara, sahabat, adik, kakak, anak yang sudah puluhan Tahun hidup berdampingan.

“Untuk itu, kami sampaikan kepada keluarga kami di NTT pada umumnya, supaya dapat menerima orang Papua yang berada di sana sebagaimana orang Papua memberlakukan kami di sini sebagai keluarga,” ungkap Pendeta Oilla.

Dia menilai, ormas yang melakukan tindakan atau penganiayaan terhadap mahasiswa Papua adalah tindakan kejahatan. Sehingga Pendeta Mordekhai mendesak Pemerintah dan pemangku kepentingan di NTT untuk segera membubarkan ormas yang bersangkutan.

Sebab kata dia, tindakan tersebut tidak sama sekali mewakili seluruh orang NTT dimanapun berada, apalagi di Tanah Papua.

“Kami mohon maaf, tapi satu salah maka kami semua mengaku salah bersama oknum-oknum yang melakukan kejahatan. Bila perlu bubarkan saja ormas melakukan kejahatan terhadap adik-adik kami di Kupang,” ucapnya.

Lanjutnya, agar masyarakat NTT di Papua hidup dengan aman dan damai bersama keluarga orang Papua. Sebab orang NTT sudah hidup berkeluarga dan berdampingan puluhan tahun di Tanah Papua.

“Kami hidup bermasyarakat, berkeluarga dengan melayani Tuhan dengan aman. Jadi kepada orang Papua, persahabatan dan kekeluargaan yang selama ini kita rawat selama ini, mari kita pertahankan. Amin,” harapnya.[*]
