Nabire, Bumiofinavandu – Wakil Menteri Dalam Negeri John Wempi Wetipo (JWW) melantik 28 anggota Majelis Rakyat Papua (MRP) Provinsi Tengah periode Tahun 2023-2028 dari keterwakilan adat dan perempuan. Pelantikan berlangsung di gedung Negara Guest House, Jalan Merdeka Nabire pada Rabu (08/11/2023) malam.
Satu dari anggota yang dilantik itu adalah Mirna Binggoro Hanebora. Mirna merupakan anggota MRP representasi dari keterwakilan perempuan pesisir Nabire.
Usai dilantik, Mirna B. Hanebora langsung menuju kediamannya di Kelurahan Kalibobo, tepatnya di belakang Kantor Kelurahan setempat. Disana, Mirna dijemput oleh tari-tarian menuju rumah untuk mengikuti doa pengucapan syukur dan diberikan pesan oleh tetua adat. Tetua adat yang dipercayakan untuk memberikan pesan adalah Bapak Yonatan Aduari, mewakili tiga Suku yakni Suku Besar Yerisiam Gua, Suku Yaur dan Suku Umari.
Menurut Aduari, puji syukur dipanjatkan kepada Tuhan atas segala berkat dan ridhonya sehingga salah satu anak asli Nabire wilayah Barat dapat mengemban tugas sebagai anggota MRP Papua Tengah.
Aduari berpesan kepada anggota MRP Mirna Hanebora, tentang dua hal, yakni takut akan Tuhan dan takut terhadap langit dan bumi. Bahwa perlu takut akan Tuhan, sebab Tuhanlah yang memberikan kepercayaan itu. Dan kedua adalah langit dan bumi. Bahwa langit dan bumi memiliki telinga, dimana Tuhan telah memberikan hikmat kepada umatnya untuk hidup di atas Tanah atau bumi ini untuk berbakti, memuji dan memuliakan nama Tuhan.
Artinya, manusia harus taat kepada aturan-aturan dan hukum yang berlaku. Yakni hukum Allah, hukum alam dan hukum adat serta hukum Negara yang sedang dijalani oleh pemerintah atau Negara.
“Jadi kunci utama adalah berdoa dan jujur dalam melaksanakan tugas. Sebab akan banyak masalah dan tantangan yang dihadapi. Maka mental harus siap, selalu minta campur tangan Tuhan dan saran dari tetua ada sebagai bekal dalam tugas dan tanggung jawabnya,” pesan Aduari.
Menurutnya, menjadi anggota MPR adalah orang yang membela akan kebenaran. Melawan akan kebenaran dan tidak membenarkan yang salah. Yakni adu argumentasi tentang budaya dan adat, paham sejarah dan status tanah dari Yerisiam hingga Teluk Umar.
“Jangan hanya mengandalkan kepandaian dalam bekerja. Tetapi selalu mengandalkan Tuhan,” tuturnya.
Aduari mengungkapkan, suku Yaur, Suku Umari dan Suku Yerisiam dicaplok sebagai orang terbelakang. Namun harus percaya bahwa firman Tuhan mengatakan bahwa orang yang terbelakang akan menjadi terdepan. “Tetapi banyak orang yang terdahulu akan menjadi terakhir, dan yang terakhir akan menjadi terdahulu” (Matius 19.30).
Artinya bahwa dari tiga suku ini sedikit, tapi ada waktu yang Tuhan pakai untuk bisa tampil dan berkembang sama seperti suku-suku lainnya.
“Mereka belum tampil, masih ada dalam perut ibu-ibu yang hamil. Kalian (ibu-ibu hamil) janin dengan baik, jaga anak dengan baik dan selalu berikan makanan bergizi, untuk melahirkan manusia yang pirtak kelak,” ungkapnya.
Sementara itu, anggota MRP PT Mirna B. Hanebora mengatakan, bahwa ia berpedoman kepada ayat alkitab yakni Amsal 1-7 yang berbunyi, “Takut akan TUHAN adalah permulaan pengetahuan, tetapi orang bodoh menghina hikmat k dan didikan. Takut akan TUHAN adalah permulaan pengetahuan; orang-orang bodoh menghina hikmat dan didikan. Bahwa takut akan Tuhan itulah permulaan segala pengetahuan, maka orang bodoh itu benci akan hikmat dan pengajaran.
Maka ketika takut akan Tuhan, maka Dia [Tuhan] akan memberikan hikmat dan pengetahuan kepada umatnya.
“Saya ingin bersyukur kepada Tuhan, sebab didikan dari orang tua saya yang mengutamakan takut akan Tuhan, jadilah saya seperti hari ini,” ucapnya.
Sekretaris aliansi perempuan Nabire, Levina Niwari mengucap syukur kepada Tuhan dan berterima kasih kepada tim pansel atas keterwakilan perempuan Nabire dalam MRP Papua Tengah. Niwari mengaku bahwa timnya bekerja sejak bulan april lalu, dalam mengusung keterwakilan perempuan Nabire.
