Tanggapi rencana pelantikan MRPPT, Ini kata KERAWAM DTC

Nabire, Bumiofinavandu –   Komisi Kerasulan Awam Dekenat Teluk Cenderawasih (KERAWAM DTC) Santo Yohanes Paulus IIn menggelar konferensi pers menanggapi rencana pelantikan Majelis Rakyat Papua Provinsi Papua Tengah (MPR PT).

Konferensi pers tersebut berlangsung di sekretariat KERAWAM DTC, Jalan Jenderal Soedirman Bukit Meriam, yang dihadiri Ketua Kerawam DTC Marselus Gobai, didampingi senior Kerawam Bartolomeus Mirip, ketua Pemuda Katolik Papua Tengah, Tino Mote serta beberapa pengurus lainnya.

KERAWAM DTC Menilai, pada tanggal 11 November mendatang, genap satu Tahun kepemimpinan Penjabat Gubernur Papua Tengah ibu Dokter Ribka Haluk. Serta beredarnya informasi di berbagai pemberitaan terkait jadwal pelantikan anggota MRP, maka agama Katolik di Papua Tengah melalui Komisi Kerawam Dekenat Teluk Cenderawasih yang disetarakan setingkat Provinsi dan selaku mandataris Komisi Kerawam Keuskupan Timika menilai bahwa;

1.   Penjabat Gubernur Papua Tengah Doktor Ribka Haluk melalui panitia pemilihan anggota MRP tingkat Provinsi,  gagal melaksanakan Pemilihan Anggota Majelis Rakyat Papua periode 2023-2028 secara jujur, adil dan tidak proporsional.

2.   Penjabat Gubernur Papua Tengah Doktor Ribka Haluk, bersama panitia pemilihan anggota MRP tingkat Provinsi, secara sistematis dan gerakan masif telah menciptakan suasana intoleransi antar umat beragama, menanamkan benih-benih kebencian dan perpecahan internal umat Katolik serta perpecahan dalam kehidupan orang Asli Papua di Provinsi Papua Tengah karena dalam proses pemilihan anggota MRP Provinsi Papua Tengah penuh dengan muatan fanatisme denominasi, didominasi oleh agama tertentu dan juga tidak mengindahkan Putusan KURIA yang disampaikan melalui Surat Keuskupan Timika Nomor: 93/KURIA-KT/2023/1.12, Perihal Pembekuan Rekomendasi MRP POKJA AGAMA di Provinsi Papua Tengah malah terus mendorong kemauan dan kepentingan dari oknum-oknum tertentu umat Katolik.

4.  Tujuan surat dan agenda undangan Gubernur Papua Tengah Nomor: 100.4.10/1477/PPT tertanggal, 23 Oktober 2023, yang sifatnya sangat segera adalah tidak sesuai perintah dari Dirjen OTDA KEMENDAGRI yang tertuang dalam point 2 dan 3 Surat Nomor: 100.2.2.2/7029/OTDA tertanggal, 17 Oktober 2023 Perihal: Hasil Penelitian Terhadap Dokumen Persyaratan Calon Anggota MRP-PT .  Pj. Gubernur Papua Tengah juga tidak menyampaikan tembusan Surat Dirjen OTDA Kemendagri Nomor: 100.2.2.2/7029/OTDA kepada Administrator Diosesan Keuskupan Timika sesuai daftar tembusan. Hal ini menunjukan Pj. Gubernur Papua Tengah menyembunyikan informasi dan perintah dari DIRJEN OTDA Kementerian Dalam Negeri.

Olehnya itu, kami, Agama Katolik di bawah komando Keuskupan Timika melalui Komisi Kerawam Dekenat Teluk Cenderawasih MENYATAKAN dan MEREKOMENDASIKAN:

1.  Penjabat Gubernur Papua Tengah Doktor Ribka Haluk, gagal meletakan dasar sistem pemilihan anggota MRP di Provinsi Papua Tengah maka, kami MEREKOMENDASIKAN kepada Presiden Republik Indonesia melalui Menteri Dalam Negeri R.I agar segera MENGEVALUASI Penjabat Gubernur Papua Tengah yang bersangkutan untuk diganti.

2.  Merekomendasikan agar Hirarki Keuskupan Timika tidak menghadiri Pelantikan dan Pengambilan Sumpah anggota MRP Provinsi Papua Tengah.

3.  Komisi Kerawam Dekenat Teluk Cenderawasih sebagai mandataris mendukung Keputusan KURIA Keuskupan Timika dan tetap mengawal Surat Keuskupan Timika Nomor: 93/KURIA-KT/2023/1.12, Perihal Pembekuan Rekomendasi MRP POKJA AGAMA di Provinsi Papua Tengah, sepanjang Pj. Gubernur Papua Tengah tidak meninjau kembali pembagian quota agama sesuai proporsional.[*]
