Jakarta, Bumiofinavandu – Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Papua Tengah Ribka Haluk tampil anggun dan mempesona ketika mengikuti Fashion Show Istana Berbatik, pada Minggu malam, 1 Oktober 2023 yang digelar di Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, dalam rangka Hari Batik Nasional.
Ribka Haluk yang didampingi suami Nikodemus Rumpumbo tampil diatas panggung parade mengenakan batik bermotif Burung Cendrawasih berwarna merah.
Hari Batik Nasional yang jatuh pada hari ini, Senin (2/10/2023), Presiden RI Joko Widodo dan Ibu Negara Iriana Joko Widodo bersama Wakil Presiden Ma’ruf Amin didampingi istri Ibu Wury Estu hadir dalam acara fashion show berbagai busana batik tanah air.
Para pejabat negara pun mulai dari Menteri jajaran Kabinet Indonesia Maju, Kapolri dan Panglima, bahkan Duta Besar negara sahabat, ikut memeriahkan kegiatan ini dengan mengenakan busana batik.
Ketika fashion show seluruh Gubernur, Pj Gubernur Papua Tengah Ribka Haluk didampingi suami tercinta Nikodemus Rumpumbo tampil mengenakan busana batik motif Burung Cendrawasih berwarna merah. Keduanya tampil serasi dan elegan ketika berjalan dan menyapa para tamu undangan.
Ribka Haluk menginginkan busana batik di tanah air semakin dicintai, khususnya batik yang berasal dari Tanah Papua. Menurut Ribka, batik Papua memiliki motif yang khas dan sangat elegan ketika dikenakan.
“Selamat Hari Batik Nasional dan lestarilah sepanjang masa,” demikian diucapkan Ribka Haluk dalam keterangan tertulisnya.
Sementara Presiden Joko Widodo dalam kegiatan itu menyampaikan bahwa Bangsa Indonesia patut bersyukur memiliki batik yang bukan hanya menjadi karya seni biasa, tetapi merupakan warisan budaya tak benda dunia dan simbolisme teknik dan budaya yang sangat melekat dengan Indonesia.
Oleh sebab itu, melalui kegiatan Istana Berbatik yang dilaksanakan memperingati Hari Batik Nasional 2 Oktober 2023, Presiden mengajak seluruh rakyat Indonesia menumbuhkan kebanggaan pada kekayaan seni budaya Indonesia serta aktif melestarikan dan mengembangkaannya.
Sedangkan Wakil Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif Angela Tanoesoedibjo yang dipercaya sebagai Ketua Panitia Istana Berbatik 2023, dalam kesempatan itu mengatakan bahwa Istana Batik merupakan pagelaran busana yang menampilkan ragam batik nusantara yang sarat akan makna. Bahkan keindahan batik tak lekang oleh waktu.
“Pada pagelaran ini kita akan menyaksikan bagaimana batik menjadi bagian dari kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia dari masa ke masa, generasi ke generasi dan bagian dari diplomasi budaya Indonesia,” katanya.
Angela pun menerangkan Istana Berbatik menampilkan koleksi-koleksi batik terbaik seperti dari berbagai kerajaan, UMKM binaan Bank Indonesia dan BNI, serta batik karya-karya perancang busana Indonesia.
Pagelaran busana batik itu sendiri melibatkan 503 orang peraga istimewa, termasuk para perwakilan kerajaan, pimpinan lembaga negara, duta besar, para menteri, wakil menteri, para gubernur, pejabat kementerian/lembaga dan daerah, serta BUMN, publik figur, atlet dan juga model.
“Acara ini dimeriahkan pula dengan persembahan seni tari musik dan pameran UMKM karya anak bangsa,” kata Angela.
“Kami berharap melalui acara pada malam hari ini, batik sebagai warisan budaya Indonesia semakin digemari, semakin dikreasikan, semakin sering dikenakan, sehingga semakin lestari dan mensejahterakan,” pungkasnya.[*]
