Dogiyai, Bumiofinavandu –  Bertempat di penjagaan Polres Dogiyai telah dilaksanakan pertemuan antara kepala kampung Obayo sdr. MARTINUS PIGAI beserta keluarga dan masyarakat kampung Obayo dengan sdr. ONES PIGOME juga serta masyarakat dan keluarganya, Senin (18/09/2023) kemarin.

Pertemuan tersebut dilaksanakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah penganiayaan yang dilakukan oleh sdr Ones Pigome terhadap kepala kampung Obayo sdr. Martinus Pigai yang terjadi di depan balai kampung Obayo Distrik Kamu Utara pada hari Minggu 17 September 2023 sekitar jam 11 siang.

Penyelesaian masalah penganiayaan itu diPimpin oleh Kasi Humas Polres Dogiyai  IPDA BABA HALMIN  ST bersama KBO sat reskrim IPDA M. ZAID , SHI, M.Si, dalam penyelesaian tersebut Ipda M. Zaid menyampaikan kepada kedua belah pihak ” Dalam permasalahan ini kami dari pihak kepolisian yakni  Polres Dogiyai telah menahan pelaku penganiayaan sdr. ONES PIGOME terhadap kepala kampung Obayo untuk kami proses hukum sebagai konsekuensi terhadap perbuatannya namun korban sdr MARTINUS PIGAI yang juga adalah kepala Kampung Obayo tidak mau untuk dilakukan proses terhadap pelaku.  Jadi kami siapkan ruang atau tempat untuk membicarakan persoalan ini agar tidak berlarut larut dan berdampak kepada keluarga masing masing ataupun kepada masyarakat lainnya”

Lanjut disampaikan KBO Reskrim,  penganiayaan ini seharusnya kami Polres Dogiyai akan memproses sesuai prosedur yang ada namun karena permintaan dari korban sendiri serta keluarganya untuk diselesaikan secara kekeluargaan oleh karena itu kami akan membuatkan surat Pernyataan  untuk kedua belah pihak serta yang memuat kesepakatan antara korban dan pelaku serta surat dari korban kepada pihak kepolisian yang menyatakan bahwa selaku korban tidak bersedia untuk dilakukan proses hukum terhadap pelaku”

Pada kesempatan yang sama kasi Humas Juga menyampaikan ” saya sangat menghormati keputusan yang diambil oleh korban dan keluarganya untuk menyelesaikan persoalan penganiayaan ini walaupun pihak kepolisian telah menahan pelaku di dalam sel tahanan, saya berharap kepada korban yang juga adalah kepala kampung Obayo untuk menyampaikan kepada masyarakat obayo agar tidak mempersoalkan masalah penganiayaan yg terjadi, agar tdk ada dendam di kemudian hari.
