Dogiyai, Bumiofinavandu – Sesuai undangan pemilihan Kepala suku tingkat Distrik Kamuu Utara, yang telah dibagikan oleh Admin Grup Meuwo. Hal tersebut sesuai Instruksi dan dari Kepala suku Besar atau Lembaga Dewan Adat Masyarakat Suku Mee di Wilayah Adat Meepago Provinsi Papua Tengah. Dalam undangan tersebut, telah diinstruksikan agar segera melakukan pemilihan ulang Kepala-kepala Suku di tingkat Distrik dan Kabupaten se- Provinsi Papua Tengah.
Khusus untuk Distrik kamuu Utara, Kabupaten Dogiyai, telah dilaksanakan Pemilihan Kepala Suku untuk periode 2023 – 2027, pada Sabtu (09/09/2023) pekan kemarin.
Sedikitnya, empat kandidat Kepala Suku bertarung dalam pemilihan tersebut yakni; Izak Tebai dari Kampung Duntek, Yohanes Youw dari Kampung Obayo, Agus Pigai dari Kampung Yametadi serta Matias Keiya dari Kampung Kuyakago.
Pemilihan berlangsung pada pukul 09.30 hingga 14.30 siang, di Aula Kantor Distrik Kamuu Utara. Pemilihan dihadiri perwakilan TNI Polri, tokoh agama, tokoh pemuda dan tokoh masyarakat, serta para kepala Kampung.
Acara diawali dengan doa pembukaan oleh Pendeta Jehezkiel Dumupa, S. Th, M.Th, dilanjutkan dengan penjelasan teknis pelaksanaan dari tim pemilihan.
Sekretaris tim pemilihan, Martinus Dumupa menjelaskan tentang tata cara dan mekanisme pemilihan, Dumupa kemudian menjelaskan tiga cara pemilihan, seperti Sistem Voting, Deklarasi dan Demokrasi (pemilihan langsung). Namun dari hasil kesepakatan maka pemilihan dilaksanakan melalui sistem demokrasi atau pemilihan langsung.
Lalu Masyarakat memilih untuk Pemilihan akan lakukan secara Demokrasi. sehingga Pemilihan, telah ikuti 4 ( empat ) bakal calon Masing-masing usulan dari empat kampung di Distrik kamuu utara.
“Berdasarkan hasil kesepakatan maka, masyarakat menggunakan sistem demokrasi atau pemilihan langsung,” kata Dumupa.
“Dan dari empat kandidat yang bertarung, Bapak Yohanes Youw meraih suara terbanyak. Sehingga akan ditetapkan dan dilantik menjadi Kepala Suku Kamuu Utara,” tambah Dumupa.
Kepala Suku Kamuu Utara terpilih, Yohanes Youw mengucapkan terima kasih kepada masyarakat dan panitia pemilihan yang telah mensukseskan pemilihan Kepala Suku.
Ia mengatakan bahwa melalui kepercayaan yang diberikan masyarakat, dirinya siap melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya dan mengabdi untuk masyarakatnya.
“Dan melalui kepercayaan ini, mari kita memperkecil persoalan di tengah masyarakat Kamuu Utara, serta menjaga situasi agar selalu aman dan damai,” terangnya.
Tokoh agama Jehezkiel Dumupa, menambahkan bahwa akan mendukung program kerja Kepala Suku terpilih. Ia Pun meminta agar seluruh masyarakat ikut mendukung dan mengawal program kerja dari Kepala Suku.
“Kami dukung dan siap kawal program kerja dari Kepala Suku,” pungkasnya.
Berikut perolehan suara dari empat kandidat bakal calon Kepala Suku Kamuu Utara;
1. Izak Tebai dari Kampung Duntek, meraih 17 suara.
2. Yohanes Youw dari Kampung Obayo memperoleh 31 suara.
3. Agus Pigai dari Kampung Yametadi memperoleh 11 suara.
4. Matias Keiya dari Kampung Kuyakago, memperoleh 13 Suara.[*]
