Diduga sebar berita Hoax, oknum wartawan Garda Tipikor beri keterangan sepihak

Nabire, Bumiofinavandu –   Seorang oknum wartawan dari media Garda Tipikor News, dinilai membuat dan menyebar berita hoax tanpa dengan keterangan sepihak tanpa mengkonfirmasi kebenarannya pada pihak-pihak terkait.

Berita tersebut telah dibuat pada media tersebut pada (04/09/) kemarin, dengan judul “Diduga Sarat Kecurangan, Tim Seleksi Diminta Batalkan 10 Calon Anggota KPU Papua Tengah Yang Ditetapkan”. dari oknumn wartawan hingga nara sumber tidak dicantumkan dalam berita tersebut.

Berita tersebut dinilai tidak berimbang tanpa narasumber yang jelas alias tidak mencantumkan narasumbernya. Sehingga dinilai mencemarkan nama baik empat bakal calon KPU Kabupaten Puncak Papua yang telah dinyatakan lolos 10 besar.

Akibatnya, empat orang bakal calon anggota KPU yang yang disebutkan dalam berita di maksud (Garda Tipikor News), kemudian melakukan jumpa pers guna mengklarifikasi berita tersebut pada Selasa (05/09/2023) kemarin.

Mereka menilai, berita itu murahan, hoax tidak benar apalagi tidak mencantumkan narasumbernya. Dan keempatnya siap memberikan bukti akurat bila diperlukan.

“kami ingin mengklarifikasi semua isi berita, karena informasi dalam berita yang telah beredar tersebut tidak benar dan kaleng-kelang. Tidak tidak ada narasumbernya dan sarat hoax,” ujar Wempi Mbisikmbo, dalam jumpa pers tadi malam.

Wempi yang namanya ikut terseret dalam pemberitaan ini menilai bahwa namanya yang sedang dimunculkan disana sebagai caleg adalah pada pemilu lima silam. Bahkan saat ini sudah diangkat menjadi ASN, sehingga secara otomatis saya bukan lagi pengurus partai.

“Karena sesuai aturan, pengurus partai itu diluar dari pegawai negeri sipil (PNS). Dan di Sipol juga nama saya tidak terdaftar disana, kita bisa cek sama-sama di sana untuk pembuktiannya,” kata Wempi geram.

Wempi, mewakili para calon KPU tersebut menjelaskan bahwa beberapa orang juga mengalami hal serupa. Misalnya Yones, yang dimaksudkan bukanlah Yones Klabetme dalam daftar 10 besar dimaksud. Melainkan Yones merupakan orang tua mereka di kampung halaman atau pedalaman.

Dia menjelaskan, dua rekan lainnya yakni Panus Telenggen dan Bernard Murip, adalah korban dari Sipol. Sehingga sudah melakukan klarifikasi ke setiap partai dan sudah dinyatakan keluar dari sipol, otomatis mereka bukan lagi sebagai anggota partai politik.

“Kemudian Yones Klabetme namanya sebagai pengurus partai, namun bukanlah orang yang sama tetapi nama Yones Klabetme yang dimaksud adalah pamannya. Jadi dia (Yones Klabetme itu bukan dia dan dia miliki gelar karena jabatan partai, itu harus disertai dengan nama lengkap dan gelar. Sehingga itu tidak benar juga, jadi kami sampaikan bahwa berita yang muat itu salah dan keliru,” jelasnya.

Wempi Mbisikmbo mengatakan bahwa pihaknya sudah mengetahui siapa dalang dari isu tersebut. Tetapi Wempi malahan ngajak agar pihak-pihak yang menyebar isu agar sama-sama bergandeng tangan guna membangun daerahnya secara bersama.

“Kami sudah tahu siapa yang sebenarnya siapa dibalik semua ini, tapi saya nilai belum dewasa dalam permainan politiknya. Kalau memang abang-abang merasa punya Puncak, ayolah kita bersatu padu untuk membangun daerah ini bersama sama-sama. Jangan kemudian dengan masalah-masalah yang tidak terbobot ini, disebar ke masyarakat. Nanti dampaknya besar, itu sudah pernah terjadi dan kami berharap tidak boleh terjadi kedua kali lagi,” katanya.

Dengan pencemaran nama baik, Wempi menegaskan bahwa mereka dirugikan. Sehingga akan menempuh jalur hukum dengan melaporkan media serta oknum yang dicurigai.

“Sebagai korban dari pencemaran nama baik, tentu kami akan menempuh melalui jalur hukum. Kami akan minta pihak berwajib untuk menyelidiki siapa pelaku dan dalang pemberitaan itu, agar bisa mengklarifikasi kebenarannya beserta barang bukti, termasuk medianya,” tegas Wempi.

Wempi, mewakili rekan-rekannya berharap oknum penyebar hoax dan tidak membuat kegaduhan. Ia kembali mengajak semua pihak untuk bergandengan tangan membangun Kabupaten Puncak dan Provinsi Papua Tengah.

“Kami berharap teman-teman dan abang-abang yang sedang mau berusaha menjatuhkan kami ini, tidak buat kegaduhan di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Kita sama-sama kawal 10 besar ini sampai siapa yang akan masuk lima besar, sebab mereka adalah adalah adik-adik kalian juga, orang dari Puncak juga. Mari kita bersatu padu bergandengan tangan membangun Puncak diatas yang lebih baik lagi,” harap Wempi.[*]
