Nabire, Bumi Finavandu – Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Papua Tengah sedang membentuk empat satuan tugas Satgas) guna percepatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Empat Satgas yang dibentuk Penjabat Gubernur Ribka Haluk antara lain, Satgas penanganan stunting, Satgas penanganan kemiskinan ekstrem, Satgas inflasi serta Satgas penanganan pengangguran.
Penjabat Ribka Haluk, mengatakan, Pemprov berkomitmen untuk melaksanakan program prioritas pemerintah pusat. Antara lain pengentasan kemiskinan extreme, stunting, inflasi di daerah dan juga pengangguran.
“maka saat ini sedang menyiapkan regulasi terkait pembentukan satgas. Saya telah memerintahkan staf ahli Gubernur untuk menyiapkan segala kebutuhan satgas dan juga menyiapkan tim,” ungkap Ribka Haluk, ketika menerima bantuan dari PT.Freeport Indonesia untuk penanganan stunting di Timika, Senin (04/09/2023) malam.
Bukan hanya itu, Ribka Haluk juga telah memerintahkan Sekda dan masing-masing Kepala Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) untuk bertanggung jawab dalam mengajukan tim teknis yang terlibat dalam satgas tersebut.
“Saat ini tim juga tengah menyiapkan konsep penanganan di masing-masing satgas, sambil menunggu pelantikan. Kita juga membuat konsep identitas diri antara lain seperti pakaian, agar masyarakat mudah mengenali tim yang turun ke lapangan,” imbuhnya.
Dia menjelaskan, dari data yang saat ini dimiliki terdapat 2.671 orang terdampak stunting di Provinsi papua Tengah. Hanya saja data tersebut masih dikaji ulang, mengingat 2 kabupaten yakni Intan Jaya dan Dogiyai belum memiliki data real.
“Kedepan kita akan berburu untuk penanganan stunting ini. Kita juga akan libatkan anak-anak muda yang pengangguran, sehingga mereka bisa dilibatkan dalam satgas ini. Kenapa mereka dilibatkan, guna mengurangi angka pengangguran yang datanya saat ini berjumlah 5.000 orang,” jelasnya.
Ribka Haluk menambahkan menurut data BKKBN jumlah masyarakat di Papua Tengah dengan kondisi miskin ekstrem sebanyak 169.538 orang. Sehingga diharapkan satgas harus mampu menurunkan angka tersebut.
“Nanti jumlah satgas sekitar 200 orang yang akan bekerja keras 3 bulan kedepan. Satgas akan diisi ASN sebagai instansi teknis dan melibatkan anak-anak yang belum bekerja dan elemen masyarakat lainnya,” pungkasnya.
Ribka Haluk berterima kasih kepada PT. Freeport Indonesia yang menyatakan komitmennya untuk membantu dalam berbagai bentuk, baik dalam bentuk keuangan, materil, moril dan menjadi mitra yang baik bagi pemerintah.
“Khusus untuk penanganan pengangguran, kita berharap anak-anak kita diberikan pembekalan skil, hingga nantinya bisa diserap menjadi tenaga kerja,” lugasnya.
Sementara itu, Executive Vice President Sustainable Development PT. Freeport Indonesia, Claus Wamafma menjelaskan pihaknya berkomitmen membantu pemerintah dalam melakukan percepatan penurunan angka stunting.
“Menangani stunting memang menjadi prioritas bagi kami bukan hanya dalam konteks bicara tentang nutrisi, tetapi kita juga melihat penyediaan air bersih, pemberantasan malaria, karena kalau ibu-ibu kalau kena malaria pada saat hamil akan berpengaruh dengan janinnya,” tuturnya.
Clause menyampaikan kegiatan ini 1 dari kegiatan yang banyak Freeport lakukan. Pihaknya juga terus berdiskusi dengan instansi pemerintahan provinsi maupun kabupaten dinas teknis guna membantu mensejahterakan masyarakat.
“Kami sudah berbicara dan berdiskusi sampai bagaimana cara kita mendapat informasi cepat tentang mama-mama yang hamil. Sehingga kita bisa turun untuk melakukan intervensi supaya janinnya sehat, dan mamanya sehat serta anak yang lahir juga kuat. Dengan begitu kita bisa benar-benar mengawal lahirnya anak-anak generasi emas di tanah Papua,” tutupnya.
PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) memberikan 3.000 paket bantuan program percepatan penurunan stunting kepada Pemerintah Provinsi Papua Tengah.
Penyerahan secara simbolis oleh Director, EVP Social Responsibility and Community Development PTFI, Claus Wamama kepada Penjabat Gubernur Ribka Haluk berlangsung di Ballroom Hotel Horison Diana Timika, Senin (4/9/2023).
Penyerahan bantuan ini merupakan kelanjutan dari kegiatan sebelumnya bersama Wakil Presiden RI Ma’ruf Amin. Total bantuan yang diserahkan 6.000 paket, yang sebelumnya 3.000 sudah diberikan dan hari ini 3.000 paket. Bantuan yang diserahkan berupa bahan makanan pokok bernutrisi.[*]
