Kigamani, Bumiofinavandu – Polres Dogiyai melakukan aksi penghijauan dengan menanam 1.000 pohon. Ribuan anakan pohon dari berbagai jenis ini ditanam di sekitaran Polsek Mapia, Koramil Mapia hingga Kantor Distrik Mapia. Rabu (23/08/2023).
Aksi penanaman dihadiri oleh Bupati Kabupaten Dogiyai yang diwakili oleh Asisten III M. Basri, Perwira Penghubung (Pabung) Kodim 1705/Nbr Mayor Inf. Prihatin, Kepala Distrik Mapia Yohanes Butu, ibu- ibu Bhayangkari Polres Dogiyai, personil Polres serta Masyarakat Distrik Mapia.
1.000 bibit pohon yang ditanam pada kegiatan tersebut, terdiri dari bibit Mangga Madu, bibit Rambutan Binjai, bibit Kelengkeng, bibit Nangka, bibit Jambu Kristal, bibit Alpukat serta bibit Kopi.
“Aksi tersebut merupakan atensi Kapolri. Kita harus bersungguh-sungguh memelihara anakan yang ditanam. Menanam kebaikan kita berada mungkin bukan kita yang menikmati tetapi tanaman pohon ini bisa memberikan kenikmatan kepada orang – orang berikutnya,” ungkap Kapolres Dogiyai Kompol Sarraju.
Ia berharap, bibit pohon yang ditanam dapat dipelihara dengan baik agar bermanfaat. Baik untuk diambil hasilnya, maupun sebagai sumber hijau untuk bumi.
“Mudah-mudahan, semua pohon yang ditanam bisa semua tumbuh sehingga membawa kesejukan di lingkungan Distrik Mapia. Karena banyak pohon yang sudah tumbuh dan bisa memberikan penghijauan sebagai jantung dan memberikan oksigen,” pungkasnya.[*]
