Saling serang, dua orang terluka dalam konflik internal KNPB

Polisi saat berada di TKP dalam konflik internal KNPB di Jayapura, Jumat (18/08/2023).– Bumiofinavandu/ISTIMEWA.

Kigamani, Bumiofinavandu –  Dua kubu simpatisan KNPB saling menyerang dalam konflik internal organisasi itu. Kejadiannya terjadi di BTN Purwodadi Sentani Kab. Jayapura. Jumat, (18/08/2023) siang.

Pertikaian tersebut mengakibatkan dua orang simpatisan dari salah satu kubu berinisial OK (30), mengalami luka tusuk di bagian leher. Dan satu lainnya TS (27) mengalami luka tusuk di bagian bahu dan dada sebelah kanan.

Kapolres Jayapura AKBP Fredrickus W.A Maclarimboen, saat dikonfirmasi membenarkan kejadian tersebut. Yakni konflik yang berujung saling serang antar dua kubu simpatisan KNPB yang terjadi di BTN Purwodadi Sentani.

Menurut AKBP Fredrickus W.A Maclarimboen, kasus ini berawal dari salah satu kubu yang sedang melaksanakan kegiatan syukuran dalam rangka pemindahan kantor sekretariat KNPB yang berada di BTN Purwodadi.  Kemudian tiba – tiba datang salah satu kubu lagi yang mempertanyakan dan menuding bahwa kubu yang sedang melaksanakan syukuran mengambil uang sebesar Rp. 200.000.000,- (dua ratus juta rupiah).

“Dari sinilah awal terjadi pertikaian, mereka kemudian saling serang antar kedua kubu,” tuturnya.

Dikatakan Kapolres, setelah mendapat laporan dari personilnya, aparat langsung turun ke TKP guna mengendalikan situasi.

Selain itu, akibat dari kejadian ini, selain dua orang mengalami luka tusuk, ada juga kerugian materil seperti tiga unit rumah yang mengalami kerusakan seperti kaca jendela pecah dan perabotan rumah yang hancur.

“Tidak hanya itu ada empat unit barang bukti sepeda motor yang dirusak salah satunya dibakar, korban sudah membuat laporan polisi sementara masih dalam pemeriksaan dan penyelidikan kami, untuk diproses hukum sesuai dengan undang – undang yang berlaku,” pungkasnya.[*]
