Nabire, Bumiofinavandu –  Sebuah pesawat Caravan dengan nomor penerbangan, PK-SNO Serial No. 208B2375 milik PT. Smart Cakrawala Aviation ditembak OTK saat take off dari bandara Pogapa, Distrik Homeyo, Intan Jaya Papua Tengah sekitar pukul 07.00 WIR pada Selasa (18/07/2023) pagi. Kini pesawat tersebut dikabarkan sudah parkarker Bandar udara Nabire dan sedang dilakukan pemeriksaan oleh Sat Reskrim Polres Nabire dan Maskapai.

Kabid Humas Polda Papua, Kombes Pol. Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo, menyatakan bahwa aparat dari Polres Nabire menurunkan personilnya untuk melakukan olah TKP. Tim ini dipimpin oleh Kaur Identifikasi, Anggota Sat Reskrim Polres Nabire, dan Anggota Polsubsektor Kawasan Bandara Nabire.

“Dari hasil pemeriksaan, tim menemukan empat lubang pada sayap kiri pesawat, yang diduga disebabkan oleh dua proyektil peluru yang menembus pesawat tersebut,” kata Kabid Humas.

Terpisah, Kapolres Nabire, AKBP I Ketut Suarnaya menyebut, pesawat itu diawaki oleh Pilot M. Farhan F dan Co-Pilot Wahyu. Sebelumnya, pesawat melakukan penerbangan awal dari Bandar Udara Timika menuju Bandar Udara Sugapa, intan Jaya.

“Setelah mengangkut tujuh personil anggota Brimob. Pesawat melanjutkan penerbangan ke Bandar Udara Waghete dan menuju Bandar Udara Nabire,” ujar Kapolres I Ketut Suarnaya.

Ditambahkan, penembakan diduga terjadi pada 18 Juli 2023 sekitar pukul 08.26 WIT, di sekitar Bandar Udara Pogapa, Distrik Homeyo, Intan Jaya. Setelah pesawat mendarat di bandara tersebut dan juga hasil koordinasi oleh Satgas Damai Cartenz 2023.

“Hasil Koordinasi kami, memang pada saat Pesawat melakukan pendaratan di Bandara Pogapa, Distrik Homeyo, Kab. Intan Jaya tepatnya di Ujung Bandara terdengar lebih dari 10 suara tembakan,” ucap Kapolres.

Hingga saat ini lanjut AKBP I Ketut, pihaknya masih melakukan penyelidikan, namun belum dapat memastikan pelakunya. Namuan keterangan para saksi dan hasil olah TKP akan terus dikumpulkan untuk mendalami kasus ini.

Dan dari kejadian ini, tidak ada korban jiwa atau luka-luka. Tim olah TKP tidak menemukan proyektil peluru yang diduga ditembakkan ke badan pesawat.

“Saya himbau masyarakat untuk tetap tenang dan tidak terpancing oleh isu-isu yang dapat menimbulkan kepanikan sehingga dapat terjaga situasi yang aman dan damai selama proses penyidikan berlangsung,” pungkasnya.[*]
