Nabire, Bumiofinavandu – Usai peletakan batu pertama di pusat Pemerintahan Provinsi Papua Tengah, di Kampung Kaladiri, Distrik Wanggar. Wakil Presiden RI KH.Ma’ruf Amin langsung menemui dan menyapa warga Himpunan Petani Nyata (HIPETA) Provinsi Papua Tengah di Pantai Menase, Kelurahan Kalibobo. Kamis (13/07/2023).
Wakil Presiden Republik Indonesia KH. Ma’ruf Amin mengapresiasi dan inisiasi kelreatif dari wadah lokal Himpunan Petani Nyata (HIPETA) di Provinsi Papua Tengah.
Wapres meyakini bahwa melalui wadah HIPETA, aspirasi dan partisipasi petani lokal akan semakin tumbuh dan berkembang.
“Tentunya melalui pembinaan, pendampingan dan dan fasilitasi yang berkesinambungan dari hulu sampai ke hilir,” kata Wapres di hadapan ratusan anggota HIPETA di Pantai Menase Nabire, (13/07/2023).
Menurutnya, HIPETA dengan berbagai programnya menandakan bahwa betapa kayanya sumber daya Tanah Papua ini.
Sebagai umat beragama menurut Wapres, bekerja merupakan suatu ibadah. Sehingga dari bumi dan Tanah harus dijadikan maka manusia harus memakmurkan bumi melalui sumber daya alam.
Maka yang dilakukan adalah upaya memakmurkan bumi. Disinilah peran dari HIPETA untuk terus meningkatkan kwalitas dan SDM petani mulai dari aspek taman, petik, olah hingga jual.
“Dengan harapan agar produksifitas pertanian semakin meningkat dan berkualitas. Sehingga pendapatan petani ikut meningkat dari waktu ke waktu,” tutur Wapres.
Wapres mengungkapkan, pertanian dan pertahanan pangan merupakan topik yang tak dapat terpisahkan. Sehingga Pemerintah telah menyusun program strategi dan kebijakan melalui ketahanan pangan, sekaligus pemerataan kesejahteraan.
“Namun dalam sasaran inplementasinya diperlukan sinergi dan kerjasama semua pihak,” Pungkasnya.
Kedatangan Wapres Ma’ruf Amin didampingi ibu Hj. Wury Estu Handayani Ma’ruf Amin, Panglima TN Laksamana TNI Yudo Margono. Wakil Menteri dalam Negeri, Wemoi Weripo, Wakil Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan. Penjabat Gubernus Provinsi Papua Tengah, Ribka Haluk dan jajarannya.[*]
