Ketua Panitia, Bupati Cup Road Race Championship Nabire Hebat, Burhanuddin Pawennari menjelaskan, pelaksanaan yang dijadwalkan pada Minggu pertama Juli (7, 8, 9) akan di tunda ke Minggu ketiga, yakni 21, 25 dan 23 Juli mendatang.
“Dalam rapat panitia, kami sudah putuskan untuk di geser ke Minggu ketiga dari rencana awal,” jelas Pawennari usai rapat bersama panitia di GOR ASRI Arena, Jalan Namlea Kelurahan Kalisusu Nabire. Jumat (23/06/20233).
Alasannya kata Pawennari, dalam waktu dekat akan ada kunjungan Wakil Presiden Prof. Dr. (H.C) K.H. Ma’ruf Amin ke Nabire.
Sehingga pelaksanaannya akan dimundurkan ke Minggu ke-3 (21, 22, 23) Juli mendatang.
“Jadi dalam rapat kami sepakat geser ke Minggu ketiga. Pelaksanaanya di sirkuit non permanen, Jalan Merdeka ” jelasnya.
Sementara untuk persiapan menurutnya, sudah sangat maksimal baik lintasan maupun perlengkapan lainnya.
Sedangkan untuk peserta berasal dari Nabire dan Papua. Ada 14 kelas dalam kejuaraan ini dengan total 13 star.
“Dan diikuti oleh seluruh tim-tim atau Club dari Nabire maupun Papua,” pungkasnya.[*]
