Pertikaian di Topo-Nabire akhirnya menemui jalan damai

Suasana pertemuan mediasi di Polres Nabire, Selasa, (13/06/2023). – Bumiofinavandu/Istimewa.

Maybrat, Bumiofinavandu –  Kepolisian Resort (Polres) berhasil memediasi sengketa lahan di Topo, Distrik Uwapa, Nabire – Papua Tengah. Proses media sempat diulur dari rencana awal pukul 09.00 WP, akhirnya mediasi dimulai pada pukul 14.00 dan berakhir pada pukul 17.00 WP dengan hasil kedua bela pihak telah bersepakat untuk berdamai.

Mediasi berlangsung di Aula Wicaksana Laghawa Polres Nabire dan dipimpin oleh Bupati Nabire Mesak Magai. Hadir dalam. Pertemuan antaralain, Bupati Paniai, Penjabat Bupati Dogiyai, dan Bupati Deiyai dan Bupati Puncak.

Selain para Bupati, turut hadir, sejumlah DPRD, tokoh adat, tokoh masyarakat serta perwakilan dari para pihak yang bertikai, serta Penjabat Gubernur Papua Tengah diwakili Plt  asisten I bidang Pemerintahan.

Beberapa poin yang diputuskan dan disepakati bersama antara lain;

Pertama, Badan Musyawarah Adat Suku Wate (BMASW) menyatakan akan mencabut dan membatalkan dua berita acara pelepasan tanah di Topo Distrik Uwapa.

Kedua, masing-masing kelompok diminta untuk membubarkan diri dan kembali ke daerahnya (Paniai, Deiyai dan Dogiyai).

Ketiga, membentuk tim investigasi yang terdiri dari TNI, POLRI dan masyarakat untuk mencari satu orang dari warga suku Dani.

Keempat, Acara perdamaian kedua belah pihak akan dilaksanakan/ditentukan kemudian, setelah upaya pencarian satu orang korban warga suku Dani dinyatakan ditemukan/selesai.

Keempat, kedua pihak sepakat menghentikan pertikaian/konflik.

Bupati Nabire mesak Magai meminta kepada kedua bela pihak untuk menahan diri dan menghentikan pertikaian. “Kalau d=sudah damai, jangan terprovokasi, baik baik di media sosial maupun dimanapun, jangan melakukan provokasi yang merugikan pihak tertentu,” kata Bupati Mesak.

Plt Asisten I Setda Provinsi Papua Tengah, Ausilius You menyerukan perdamaian harus terwujud di daerah ini. You menyerukan agar warga tidak menyebarkan informasi yang tidak benar (HOAX), serta menghasut dan memperkeruh suasana.

Menurutnya, belajar dasi konflik di Topo, menyebabkan dua nyawa meninggal dunia  serta warga kehilangan harta benda.

“Pemprov Papua Tengah melarang keras menghasut rakyat, siapapun itu dan dari kelompok manapun. Mari kita bersatu untuk membangun negeri ini,” ungkap You.

Dia menyarankan agar Bupati Nabire beserta anggota Forkompinda selalu berkoordinasi dengan aparat keamanan. Hal ini guna menciptakan stabilitas keamanan bagi masyarakat.

“saya sarankan agar Bupati dan anggota Forkompinda selalu berkoordinasi dengan aparat. Tujuannya untuk stabilitas keamanan, mari ciptakan suasana damai dan aman diantara kita semua,” saran You.

Kapolres Nabire, AKBP I Ketut Suarnaya menghimbau kepada masyarakat di daerah ini agar bersama-sama menjaga keamanan dengan bersatu dan hidup berdampingan.

Dia juga meminta agar masyarakat menepis informasi-informasi yang tidak bertanggung jawab.

“Masalah ini sudah diselesaikan. Mari kita semua kembali bersatu untuk Nabire dan Papua Tengah yang aman dan damai. Masyarakat jangan sampai terpancing dengan isu-isu yang tidak jelas,” harap Kapolres.

Situasi mediasi pertikaian berjalan aman walau sempat terjadi keributan kecil serta sejumlah warga berada di depan halaman Polres Nabire. Sedikitnya, 800 personel gabungan dari TNI dan Polri disiagakan untuk pertemuan ini.[*]
