Serah terima tersebut digelar setelah para pejabat dilantik secara definitif oleh Bupati Nabire Mesak Magai, pada 21 Maret 2023 lalu. Mereka terdiri dari pejabat pimpinan tinggi pratama, pejabat administrator serta pejabat pengawas di lingkungan Pemkab Nabire.

Acara serah terima jabatan dihadiri para asisten Setda Nabire, para pimpinan OPD se-Kabupaten Nabire, Ketua Dharma Wanita serta para kepala Distrik. Yang diawali dengan pembacaan SK oleh Kepala BKPSDM, dilanjutkan dengan penyerahan jabatan sekda dari plt. Herman Kayame kepada pejabat sekda definitif Piter Erari.

Wabup, dalam arahanya mengatakan bahwa rotasi jabatan dalam organisasi pemerintahan merupakan suatu hal yang biasa. Olehnya itu, Pemerintah Kabupaten Nabire memberikan apresiasi setinggi-tingginya dan mengucapkan terima kasih yang sebesar besarnya atas kinerjanya selama ini.

Selanjutnya, pejabat baru harus menyadari tugas dan tanggung jawab yang dipercayakan. Sebab banyak tugas yang menanti yakni program-program Renstra dan Musrenbang serta program kerja dari OPD.

“Terpenting adalah untuk mendukung Pemerintah Kabupaten Nabire, demi terwujudnya visi misi Bupati Dan Wakil Bupati. Yakni “Nabire Aman, Mandiri dan Sejahtera” dengan motto “Nabire Hebat”. Sebab dalam mewujudkan visinya, Bupati Mesak mengusung lima misi yaitu, Jaminan Stabilitas Keamanan dan Kenyamanan Daerah, Pembinaan Keagamaan (Iman dan Taqwa), Peningkatan Kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia, Peningkatan Pelayanan Kesehatan, Peningkatan Ekonomi Rakyat, dan Peningkatan Infrastruktur Daerah,” pungkasnya.[*]
