Nabire, Bumiofinavandu – Tim Srena (KEPANJANGAN) dari Mabes Polri sedang melakukan studi kelayakan dalam rangka pembentukan Polda Papua Tengah. Pembahasan berlangsung di Aula RPB Polres Nabire, Papua Tengah pada Selasa (07/03/2023).
Studi kelayakan, dilaksanakan untuk mengkaji sejauh mana kesiapan pembentukan Polda Papua Tengah, yang dilanjutkan dengan pemeriksaan kelengkapan administrasi melalui aplikasi Sistem Informasi Klasifikasi Kesatuan Kewilayahan atau SIK3.
Tim terdiri dari Karo Lemtala Srena Mabes Polri Brigjen Pol. Drs. Budi Yuwono (Ketua tim studi kelayakan), Karo Rena Polda Papua Kombes Pol. Mulyadi, Kabid Propam Polda Papua selaku LO Provinsi Papua Tengah Kombes Pol. Gustav R. Urbinas.
Pertemuan itu dihadiri oleh para Kapolres se-Provinsi Papua Tengah, para perwira dan operator, Danyon C Pelopor Kompol D. A. Puhiri,, Wakil Bupati Nabire Ismail Jamaluddin, DPRD Kabupaten diwakili Plt. Kasubag perlengkapan dan protokol Setwan, tokoh agama, tokoh masyarakat serta tokoh adat di wilayah ini.
Karolemtala Srena Mabes Polri Brigjen Pol Budi Yuwono yang merupakan ketua tim studi kelayakan pembentukan Polda Papua Tengah menyatakan bangga bahwa sebagai bagian dari sejarah pembentukan Polda Papua Tengah melalui otonomi baru. Tentunya harus diimbangi dengan kehadiran kepolisian setingkat Polda untuk menciptakan sekaligus mewujudkan rasa keamanan bagi masyarakat.
Arah program Kapolri yaitu menyelaraskan tingkat Kesatuan Kewilayahan Kepolisian dengan pengembangan Kewilayahan tingkat Provinsi, Kabupaten/Kota maupun Distrik/Kecamatan, terkait pemekaran wilayah, sehingga harus didukung dengan pembentukan kepolisian tingkat daerah.
“Semoga apa yang menjadi harapan kita kedepan dapat terwujud dan dapat meningkatkan nilai positif pada setiap aspek kehidupan dengan menjalin kerja sama dengan semua pihak,” kata Brigjen Pol Budi Yuwono.
Karo Rena Polda Papua Kombes Pol. Mulyadi mengatakan, menindaklanjuti hasil rapat secara daring yang dipimpin oleh Wakapolri di bulan Januari lalu. Maka Polda Papua segera menyusun rencana dan usulkan pembentukan-pembentukan Polda di jajaran DOB.
“Sehingga disamping rencana pembentukan Polda baru, kami dari biro Rena akan meminta data dari para Kapolres di Distrik yang memang sudah siap dibentuk Polsek atau Polsubsektor untuk segera diajukan untuk diajukan ke Mabes Polri, karena masyarakat sangat berharap pelayanan Kepolisian khususnya pada aspek keamanan,” katanya.
Sementara itu, Kapolres Nabire AKBP I Ketut Suarnaya mengungkapkan bahwa dengan terbentuknya Ibu Kota Provinsi Papua Tengah di Kabupaten Nabire, berarti permasalahan makin banyak seperti sengketa lahan, Konflik antar Kelompok suku, curanmor, pemulangan dan tindak kejahatan lainnya.
“Nabire ini sebagai penyangga dari Kabupaten atas kecuali Mimika, Puncak dan Puncak Jaya, kalau Intan Jaya, Dogiyai, Deiyai dan Paniai semua bahan sembako, bahan pangan dan bahan bangunan semua dari Kabupaten Nabire, apabila di Kabupaten Nabire tersendat makan Kabupaten yang ada di atas akan tersendat juga untuk itu Kabupaten Nabire ini kita jaga bersama, sehingga kami berharap pembentukan Polda Papua Tengah untuk dapat memback up Polres Nabire,” ungkap AKBP I Ketut.
Sedangkan LO Provinsi Papua Tengah, Kombes Pol Gustav Urbinas memaparkan, keamanan sampai sejauh ini di Kabupaten Nabire relatif kondusif. Sementara untuk kesiapan pembentukan Polda Papua Tengah, Ia mengaku sudah mendapat beberapa persetujuan serta dukungan dari tokoh masyarakat, tokoh agama serta didukung penuh oleh Pemkab Nabire.
“Secara keseluruhan semua elemen masyarakat serta stakeholder mendukung pembangunan Polda Papua Tengah,” papar Urbinas.[*]
