Polri fasilitasi pelukis disabilitas ekspresikan kreativitas. – Bumiofinavandu/Rilis Humas Mabes Polri

Nabire, Bumiofinavandu –  Polri fasilitasi pelukis disabilitas ekspresikan kreativitas. Kegiatan tersebut digelar melalui program “Police Art Festival 2022” untuk memfasilitasi para pelukis jalanan dan pelukis disabilitas mengekspresikan kreativitas.

Festival tersebut juga digelar dalam menyambut hari disabilitas internasional pada 3 Desember 2022 kemarin.

Adapun kegiatan digelar sejak 16 Desember 2022 hingga 17 Desember 2022 di Taman Ismail Marzuki Jakarta.

Kadiv Humas Polri Irjen Pol Dedi Prasetyo mengatakan, Polri berkomitmen memberikan ruang terbuka kepada seniman untuk mengekspresikan pemikirannya tentang Polri. Ruang itu diwadahi melalui diadakannya kegiatan bernuansa budaya dan seni seperti Police Art Festival ini.

Ini juga merupakan bentuk komitmen Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo yang sangat peduli dengan kaum disabilitas.

“Para seniman kita berikan ruang untuk mengekpresikan pendapat tentang kepolisian. Kita menerima saran dan kritik,” ujar Dedi di Jakarta,  Sabtu 17 Desember 2022.

Dedy mengatakan, kegiatan ini diikuti oleh lebih dari 100 peserta yang berasal dari 34 provinsi. Karya seni mereka kemudian dikurasi oleh Tempo.

“Dari 34 dipilih 10 provinsi yang mewakili yang hadir di sini di Jakarta,” ujar Dedi.

Kegiatan ini juga mengundang para komunitas hingga sekolah luar biasa dari tingkat SD hingga SMA.

Dedi beserta rombongan menyempatkan diri berkeliling melihat proses para pelukis membuat karya seni. Dari situ, Dedi mengapresiasi antusiasme yang besar dari para peserta.

“Sangat luar biasa antusiasnya. Mereka diberi ruang untuk lebih percaya diri. Mereka juga bisa mengekpresikan diri sebebas-bebasnya dan betul-betul ingin dituangkan. Kami salut dan memberikan apresiasi dan penghargaan setinggi-tingginya,” kata Dedi.

Dedi mengatakan, sebagian besar karya seni menggambarkan sosok kepolisian yang humanis terutama dalam melayani kaum disabilitas.

Bahkan, paling banyak lukisan menampilkan sosok Kapolri Jendral Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

Menurut Dedi, hal itu karena sosok Kapolri yang ramah dan peduli dengan kaum disabilitas. Di awal menjabat, Kapolri sudah meminta seluruh jajaran untuk membuat pos pelayanan yang ramah difabel.

“Ketika beliau menjabat meminta seluruh sentra-sentra pelayanan dari tingkat Polsek, Polres, Polda, dan Mabes harus ramah disabilitas. Contoh jajaran harus persiapkan kursi roda. Bahkan, disabilitas juga diberi ruang untuk diberikan SIM Disabilitas,” pungkasnya.[*]
