Pokja Perempuan MRP temui Bupati Nabire, ini hasilnya

Nabire, Bumiofinavandu – Kelompok Kerja (Pokja) Perempuan Majelis Rakyat Papua (MRP) menemui Bupati Nabire, Mesak Magai dan DPRD Nabire. Pertemuan tersebut guna menindaklanjuti aspirasi mama-mama Papua dari Nabire dalam Diskusi bersama MRP dan perempuan dalam rangka kampanye tentang kekerasan 16 hari terhadap ibu dan anak di Tanah Papua.

Ketua Pokja Perempuan MPR, Ciska Abugau, A.Ma.Pd menjelaskan, Ia dan rekannya Petronela E. Th. Bunapa, telah aspirasi dari mama-mama tentang pasar sudah disampaikan dalam audiensi dengan Bupati Nabire pada Senin (13/12/202).

“Ini adalah upaya Pokja perempuan dalam menanggapi aspirasi mama-mama dalam menafkahi keluarganya,” ujar Ciska Abugau.

Sebab kata dia, selama ini mama-mama Papua berjualan di atas trotoar dengan beralaskan karung dan karton serta beratapkan langit. Tentunya hujan panas telah dirasakan oleh mama-mama, apalagi terkadang dalam aktivitasnya mama-mama ada anak diikutsertakan.

Sehingga mereka (mama-mama Papua meminta kepada Bupati Nabire untuk membangun pasar yang layak untuk menjajakan dagangannya.

“Jadi dari aspirasi ini, kami sudah sampaikan ke Pak Bupati tadi,” kata Ciska.

Dari pertemuan tersebut lanjut dia, Bupati telah berjanji akan menganggarkan biaya untuk pembangunan pasar mama-mama di dekat terminal Oyehe (terminal lama).

Maka Bupati dan DPRD dalam pertemuan itu telah sudah memberi sinyal untuk membereskan persoalan pasar mama-mama.

“Jadi sudah ada sinyal dari Bupati Nabire,” ucapnya.

Untuk itu, Ciska Abugau berpesan kepada mama-mama Papua khususnya pedagang di pasar agar ketika perjuangan Bupati berhasil dengan membangun pasar, maka harus mengikuti apa yang sudah disiapkan oleh Pemerintah. Jangan sampai ada unek-unek lagi jika bangunan pasar sudah disediakan.

“Saya pesan, kalau bangunan pasar sudah jadi, harus dengan apa yang diatur pemerintah. Jangan buat tau-tau, supaya dorang (mama-mama) jualan di tempat yang aman,” pesan Ibu Ciska Abugau.(*)
