Nabire, Bumiofinavandu – Kelompok Kerja (Pokja) Perempuan Majelis Rakyat Papua (MRP) melaksanakan kunjungan kerja (kunker) di Kabupaten Nabire, Papua. Pertemuan berlangsung di Nabire, Senin (13/12/2021).

Ketua Pokja Perempuan MPR, Ciska Abugau, A.Ma, Pd. mengatakan, kunker dilaksanakan dalam rangka kampanye 16 hari Anti kekerasan terhadap perempuan dan anak di Kabupaten Nabire.

“Kunker kami dalam rangka kampanye 16 hari anti kekerasan terhadap Perempuan,” ujar Ketua Pokja MRP, Ciska Abugau usai pertemuan itu.

Menurutnya, kunker MRP tentang kampanye kekerasan 16 hari terhadap ibu dan anak di Tanah Papua, dilaksanakan dalam rangka peringatan hari HAM sedunia 10 Desember 2021. Seharusnya dilakukan pada tanggal itu, anggota MPR ada kesibukan lain sehingga baru terlaksana.

Maka sesuai dengan program MPR dari 17 anggota perempuan, dibagi delapan kelompok ke semua Kabupaten. Ada kelompok di Kabupaten Jayapura, Kabupaten Sarmi, Kabupaten Nabire, Kabupaten Wamena, Kabupaten Yahukimo, Kabupaten Tolikara, Kabupaten Merauke, Kabupaten Biak. Masing-masing Kabupaten di utus dua anggota.

Dan di Nabire adalah Ketua tim, Petronela E. Th. Bunapa, SE dan Ketua Pokja Perempuan MPR, Ciska Abugau A.Ma, Pd. kehadiran untuk menyampaikan dan mengkampanyekan kekerasan terhadap perempuan dan anak.

“Karena kami melihat dalam ajang ini adalah kekerasan terhadap perempuan dan anak itu berlapis. Ada kekerasan dalam rumah tangga, ada kekerasan dalam adat, kekerasan dari gereja, kekerasan di tempat kerja, kekerasan di tengah masyarakat termasuk kekerasan terbesar dari Negara terhadap masyarakatnya,” tutur Ciska Abugau.

Kata dia, kehadiran pokja perempuan MRP untuk menyampaikan dan menyuarakan kekerasan-kekerasan yang dilakukan dari yang berbagai pihak. Dengan mengumpulkan perempuan-perempuan di Nabire dari berbagai elemen-elemen, baik dari gereja-gereja Kristen dan Katolik, perempuan aktivis dan lainnya.

Para perempuan dan dua anggota MRP ini bertukar pikiran tentang apa saja yang pernah dialaminya, karena belum bisa mendatangi satu per satu. Namun diskusi tersebut belum berdampak terhadap perempuan dan belum tentu juga terobati dengan masalah yang pernah dialaminya. Namun dengan pengalaman dan unek-unek yang dilontarkan diharapkan dapat meringankan beban yang dialami.

“Pada prinsipnya, kami mari kita saling duduk mendengar dan mengungkapkan, walaupun memang setelah diungkapkan tidak ada tindak lanjut,” katanya.

Ciska Abugau mengaku, dari hasil diskusi tersebut mendapatkan beberapa unek-unek dari para perempuan. Ada yang sekedar curhat tentang suka duka di dalam rumah tangganya. ada yang sudah cerai lantaran sudah tidak dapat mempertahankan keutuhan rumah tangganya akibat perbuatan suami.

Ada juga batal cerai lantaran perlu memikirkan tentang keluarga dan anak-anaknya, padahal sudah berurusan dengan penegak hukum (kepolisian) karena sudah melaporkan tindakan sang suami, baik perselingkuhan maupun kekerasan atau penganiayaan. Namun laporannya tidak dilanjutkan dan hanya diselesaikan secara kekeluargaan.

Ada ibu yang mengaku sudah melaporkan tindakan suaminya kepada polisi tapi masalah tidak dilanjutkan, alasannya kalau suami masuk penjara lalu siapa yang akan melihat anak-anaknya. Ada ibu yang meninggalkan suami atau cerai juga tidak mungkin karena sudah nikah gereja dan pencatatan sipil. disinilah mereka harus berpikir lagi. sementara ada juga yang pilih hidup sendiri dengan anak-anaknya tanpa suami.

“Disitulah perasaan seorang perempuan akan muncul. Walaupun laki-laki sudah melukai dan melakukan kekerasan atau selingkuh tapi masih ada kata maaf. Maka istri akan mempertahankan suaminya walaupun disakiti hanya demi anak-anak,” ucapnya.

Akan tetapi, tidak semua suami atau laki-laki melakukan kekerasan dan perselingkuhan di dalam satu rumah tangga. Sebab ada juga suami atau laki-laki yang baik. Karena mereka yang suka melakukan kekerasan dalam rumah tangga adalah yang sering melakukan perselingkungan. Akibatnya ekonomi keluarga hancur, anak jalan sendiri, sesuai kemauannya dan sebagainya.

Apalagi jika ada yang sudah cerai maka ada ibu yang baik dan siap menghidupi anaknya karena punya usaha atau pekerjaan. Ibu seperti ini akan mengatakan bahwa anak adalah anakku dan pastinya dia bertanggungjawab.

“Jadi Diskusi seperti ini memang haru sering dilakukan agar beban dari para ibu bisa merasa ringan,” pungkasnya.

Dari hasil pertemuan tersebut, Pokja Perempuan juga menerima aspirasi dari mama-mama Papua yang berprofesi sebagai pedagang di pasar-pasar.

MRP kemudian menindaklanjuti aspirasi tersebut dengan melakukan kunjungan ke Bupati Nabire. Hasilnya, Bupati Nabire berjanji akan membangun pasar mama-mama Papua di kompleks terminal Oyehe.(*)
