Manokwari, Bumiofinavandu – Pada puncak peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun ke-25 Lembaga Penelitian, Pengkajian dan Pengembangan Bantuan Hukum (LP3BH) Manokwari ditandai dengan acara Ibadah Syukur yang dipimpin Pdt.Maya Betaubun, M.Th pada Selasa (12/10/2021).

Ibadah bertempat di Gedung Kantor LP3BH Manokwari di Jalan Gunung Salju No.18 Fanindi Bengkel Tan, Manokwari, Papua Barat. Dengan mengambil renungan dari Kitab Injil pada Surat Rasul Paulus kepada Jemaat di Korintus 15:10. Pendeta Betaubun yang juga Ketua Pelaksana Harian Majelis Jemaat (PHMJ) GKI Sion Sanggeng menyampaikan khotbah yang bertitik tolak pada posisi LP3BH sebagai Charis atau yang diutus Tuhan untuk melakukan karya penyelematan umat manusia dari ketidakadilan dan ketertindasan.

Sesuai ibadah dilanjutkan dengan acara pemotongan kue ulang tahun LP3BH Manokwari yang dipimpin oleh Advokat Thresje Juliantty Gaspersz sebagai Ketua Panitia kecil. Kemudian setiap potongan kue diserahkan kepada Ketua Badan Pendiri LP3BH Ir.Sahat Saragih, Ketua Badan Pengurus LP3BH Dr.Ir.Agus Sumule.

Kemudian kepada Ibu Pendeta Maya Betaubun, Ketua Dewan Adat Papua (DAP) Wilayah III Doberay Mananwir Paul Finsen Mayor dan perwakilan staf LP3BH Ibu Febby Tahapary dan Andris Wabdaron. Acara dilanjutkan dengan sambutan dari Ketua Badan Pendiri, dan Leo Rumainum Rumainum atas nama korban kasus Pelanggaran HAM Berat Wasior 2001. Kemudian disusul sambutan dari Ketua Badan Pengurus LP3BH dan Ketua DAP Wilayah III Doberay. Lalu diakhiri dengan Sambutan Direktur Eksekutif LP3BH Manokwari Advokat Yan Christian Warinussy.

Acara diisi dengan atraksi suling Tambur dari mahasiswa asal Kabupaten Raja Ampat di Manokwari.

Selain itu, LP3BH Manokwari juga berziarah ke makan salah satupendiri. Namun tim LP3BH Manokwari karena tidak bisa menemukan makam dari salah satu pendiri atas nama almarhum Jawab Kapissa.

Sehingga rombongan melakukan kunjungan ke rumah almarhum di Jalan Imam Bonjol, Kompleks Sarinah-Manokwari.

Rombongan bertemu anak kandung almarhum Jawab Kapissa yaitu Mathias Kapissa dan keluarga. Ir.Sahat Saragih menyampaikan bahwa kunjungan ke rumah almarhum Kapissa adalah bukti silaturahmi yang terus dijaga oleh teman-teman LP3BH dengan keluarga Jaab Kapissa dan keluarga Badan Pendiri LP3BH yang lain.

“Ini menjadi bukti agar Mathias dan keluarga Kapissa memahami bahwa LP3BH itu berdiri bukan hanya karena jasa saya dan Pak Warinussy semata, tapi ada jasa orang lain seperti almarhum Bapak Jaab Kapissa dan bapa saudara lain yang masih diteruskan oleh kami yang masih hidup ini dan akan dilanjutkan oleh generasi baru LP3BH”, jelas Ir.Sahat Saragih saat memimpin pertemuan dengan keluarga almarhum Kapissa siang tadi.(*)
