Nabire, Bumiofinavandu – Sebanyak 100 personil anggota Polri dari dua Polres tetangga yakni Polres Waropen dan Polres Biak, siap membackup Polres Nabire menjelang putusan Mahkamah konstitusi (MK) dalam sengketa Pilkada Nabire pada 29 September 2021 mendatang.
100 Personil anggota Bawah Kendali Operasi (BKO) tersebut tiba di Nabire dan dijemput langsung oleh Kapolres Nabire AKBP I Ketut Suarnaya, SIK, S.H di pelabuhan laut Teluk Teluk Kimi, Samabusa Nabire, Papua pada (27/09/21).
Kapolres I Ketut Suarnaya, menyampaikan dan selamat datang kepada anggota dari dua Polres yakni Polres Biak dan Polres Waropen atas atensinya dan tiba di Nabire dengan selamat.
Diharapkan, agar anggota yang diperbantukan tidak memandang dan memetakkan bahwa ada yang berasal dari Polres Waropen, Polres Biak maupun Polres Nabire. Akan tetapi, ketiganya merupakan satu kesatuan yang berasal dari Polri, yang hanya diberi kesempatan untuk membantu mengamankan wilayah hukum Polres Nabire jelang pengumuman hasil PSU.
“Saat ini kita semua dihadapkan dengan sidang putusan MK yang di perkiraan akan di laksanakan pada tanggal 29 September 2021 mendatang pukul 10.00 WIB. Saya harapkan kita semua tidak menjadi pemicu permasalahan di tengah masyarakat justru kehadiran rekan-rekanlah yang menjadi peredam jika terdapat permasalah.” ungkap AKBP I Ketut Suarnaya.
Sehingga, semua kendali dipegang oleh Polres Nabire. Kapolres kemudian memerintahkan kepada personil BKO untuk dilakukan penyemprotan desinfektan.
“Hal ini mengingat penyebaran covid-19 kian mewabah, oleh sebab itu penyemprotan ini berguna bagi kesehatan kita semua.” pungkasnya.
