Dinas PPPA Nabire buka layanan rujukan korban kekerasan perempuan

Nabire, Bumiofinavandu – Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Anak (PPPA) Nabire melalui Bidang Perlindungan Perempuan, telah menyiapkan ruang pelayanan rujukan lanjutan bagi perempuan korban kekerasan yang memerlukan koordinasi. Penyediaan rujukan ini tersebar di enam Distrik di Kabupaten Nabire dalam sebuah pelatihan selama kurang lebih satu pekan.

Keenam Distrik antara lain, Distrik Makimi, Distrik Teluk Kimi, Distrik Nabire Barat, Distrik Wanggar dan Distrik Yaro serta Distrik Uwapa. . Peserta dilatih untuk menjadi tenaga pendamping korban kekerasan.

“Kegiatan ini sudah belangsung sejak 20-30 Agustus 2021,” ujar Kabid perlindungan perempuan dan anak, Dinas PPPA Nabire Susan Maruanaya di Nabire. Senin (3/08/2021).

Ia menjelaskan, maksud dan tujuan disediakannya ruang penyediaan rujukan di enam Distrik itu adalah agar memudahkan korban tindak kekerasan untuk dapat menyetahui dimana harus melapor. Sebab selama ini mungkin saja perempuan banyak yang mengalami kekerasan, tetapi tidak tahu kemana harus mengaduh. Atau bahkan ada diantaranya yang takut untuk melapor akibat tekanan keluarga dan sebagainya.

“Nah, ruang ini disediahkan untuk kebutuhan mereka bilamana ada kejadian kekerasan dialama,” jelas Marwanaya.

Tingkat kekerasan perempuan dan anak banyak selama ini. Namun menurutnya, saat pelaksanaan kegiatan ada penyampaian bahwa tindakan itu (kekerasan) ada, hanya saja ada ketakutan untuk melapor. Ada juga dipengaruhi adat dan lainnya, sehingga tidak berani melaporkan.

Namun yang perlu diingat bahwa setiap pelapor dilindungi oleh UU. Jika tidak dilapor maka pelaku akan menganggap remeh dan dengan semena-mena akan terus melakukan tindak kekerasan.

“Jadi supaya ada efek jerah bagi pelaku kita harus melapor. Bisa ke Pos Polisi atau Koramil terdekat untuk mendapatkan perlindungan,” tuturnya.

Kata Maruanaya, peserta pelatihan berasal dari perempuan atau korban kekerasan, ibu-ibu PKK serta dari aparat keamanan dari enak Distrik. Sedangkan berikutnya pada pekan depan, tim akan turun ke daerah-daerah kepulauan yang difokuskan pada sosoalisasi untuk kaum pria.

Tujuannya agar pelaku (kaum pria) agar tidak hanya melakukan kekerasan tetapi harus mengetahui apa saja sanksi yang akan diterima jika melakukan kekerasan.

“Jadi kami akan ke kepulauan minggu depan,” kata Marwanaya.

Lanjutnya, materi yang diberikandalam pelatihan meliputi UU tentang perlindungan perempuan dan gerakan nasional tentang kejahatan seksual terhadap anak.

“misaknya soal kecelakaan dan anak ketika lahir bisa mendapatkan akte yang sah,” lanjutnya.(*)
