Nabire, Bumiofinavandu – Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Nabire melalui bidang P2P, akan mendistribusikan kelambu malaria ke 32 puskesmas yang tersebar di daerah ini. sehingga, sebelum pendistribusian, penangungjawab malaria telah melakukan pertemuan bersama 32 kepala puskesmas untuk membahas pembagian kelambu malaria kepada warga masyarakat.
“kami membahas persiapan pembagian kelambu. Jadi segera akan didistribusikan,” ujar Kepala Bidang P2P, Dinkes Nabire, dokter Frans Sayori di Nabire. Jumat (31/7/2020).
Sehingga, bidang P2P khusunya penanggungjawab malaria bersama para kepala puskesmas membahas dan menentukan tempat dan titik-titik pendistribusian.
“mengingat letak geografis maka pendistribusian perlu direncakanan. Sebab ada yang di pulau, ada juga lewat jalan darat dan butuh transportasi, bahkan ada yang harus menggunakan transortasi udara. Jadi sangat perlu duduk bersama untuk membicarakat, terutama puskesmas yang ada di pedalaman seperti Distrik Dipa dan Menou agar dalam pelaksanaannya nanti bisa berjalan dengan lancar,” tutur Sayori.
Lanjut jubir covid-19 Kabupaten Nabire ini, jatah kelambu yang di diperoleh dari pusat hanya sampai kepada Dinas kesehatan setempat dan dibiayai oleh pusat. Sementara untuk sampai kepada masyarakat bukan lagi tanggungjawab pusat atau kementerian.
“Untuk itu kami sudah menghadap pimpinan daerah, sehingga mudah-mudahan ada solusinya agar distribusi terutama ke puskesmas yang sulit jangkauan bisa teratasi,” lanjut Sayori.
Jumlah kelambu malaria yang diterima Dinkes Nabire sebanyak 1.647 bal/karung. Satu karung terdapat 50 buah, sehingga total keseluruhan ada 82.350 buah kelambu. Jumlah tersebut akan dibagikan ke 15 Distrik dan 82 Kampung.
“Jatah perkampung tergantung jumlah penduduk sebab dihitung berdasarkan kelompok tidur dalam satu keluarga dengan hitungan satu kelambu untuk dua orang,” ujar Yenice Derek, Penanggungjawab Malaria, bidang P2P Dinkes Nabire.
Untuk penyalurannya nanti dijelaskan Yenice, Dinas akan mendistribusikan kepada puskesmas dan puskesmaslah yang akan menentukan titik-titik distribusi berdasarkan wilayah kerjanya.
“Puskesmas yang menentukan tempatnya, lalu dinas akan mengantar sampai ke tujuan. Nanti mereka (puskesmas) yang salurkan ke warga masyarakat. Dan tanggungjawab kami sampai ke titik yang ditentukan,” jelasnya.
Lanjut Yenice, angka malaria sejak Januari hingga Juni di Kabupaten Nabire berada di angka 9 per 1.000 penduduk. Artinya, dalam 1.000 orang hanya terdapat sembilan yang sakit malaria.
“Kami harap tahun ini tidak meningkat. angka ini sudah turun dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya, berkat sosialisasi yang terus menerus dilakukan,” lanjut Derek.
Sehingga, Dinkes Nabire menghimbau agar masyarakat memiliki gerakan pasang kelambu agar terbebas dari malaria. Dengan tidur menggunakan kelambu akan mengurangi reziko terkena malaria.
Ia juga bilang, tidak masalah jika tidak ingin menggunakan kelambu. Manun di buka saja dibuka saja dan di taruh dekat pintu kamar. Karena nyamuk akan hingga dan mati karena aroma insektisida dan jarak terbangnya tidak jauh.
“Karena kelambu ini berinsektisida jadi nyamuk pasti akan mati. Aman untuk manusia, dan ini gratis maka harus dihargai,” imbuh Yeni.(Red)
